A little less heat today, more of an early spring weather, which is awesome because we can rest from all the heat, and do some layering. I went for one of my favorite trousers in grey and combined it with a sweater in the same color. Underneath my striped shirt. I’m wearing my slip-on sneakers again, but really they are the best option for a day that involves a lot of walking, and lately I’ve been doing a lot of it!

Finalmente un día de menos calor, mas en línea con la época en la que estamos. Yo encantada, ya que me encanta el entretiempo, sobre todo comienzos de primavera. Esto permite jugar un poco con capas, por lo que opté por una camisa a rayas y sobre ella mi jersey gris oscuro en el mismo color que mis pantalones. Otra vez repito zapatillas, pero la verdad son la mejor opción para un día movido, que involucra caminar bastante.

For the wonderful weather been having here in L.A there is hardly any need for more clothes than one layer. So of course I went for something simple, as simple as it gets: a monochrome outfit. As you know navy is one of my go-to colors, and I’m wearing a LND little navy dress, a great option to LBD little black dress. I wore it with my slip-on navy sneakers, even though they are somewhat old I cant seem to get enough of them lately, it’s all about the comfort!

Para este tiempo estupendo que estamos teniendo en L.A, casi no hay necesidad de llevar mas de una capa. Así que por supuesto que decidí ir por algo de lo más simple: un conjunto monocromático. Como sabéis uno de mis colores mas socorridos es el azul navy así que porque no descansar de mis multiples LBD little black dress y en vez llevar un LND little navy dress. Combinado con mis zapatillas slip on que últimamente no puedo dejar de usar es un conjunto ideal para el día a día en este clima californiano.

A beautiful cloudy day in L.A with more spring like weather for the start of my favorite season! I have worn my dungarees to death, over and over again, and you can see all those outfits on this blog if you go back in time. I mostly wear them when it’s not too hot and not too cold. I love the versatility of this garment, it is just amazing! I wish to get more dungarees soon.I know I have been doing a lot of black and white lately, like a lot, I’m just in the mood for it lately, it also helps that almost everything I brought here is in those colors, or not colors. At the end it all comes to feeling comfortable with what you wear and for me black and white does that.

Un fantástico día sin sol en L.A, lo que hace que por fin sienta que estamos en primavera! Llevo usando este peto bastante tiempo con mucha frecuencia, pero la verdad es que es una prenda estupenda tan versátil y cómoda, que no puedo dejar de usarla. Suelo usarla mas en entretiempo porque se ajusta mas a este clima. En verano da mucho calor, en invierno acabo por cubrirla y la gracia es que se vea que es un peto y no vaqueros sin más, así que primavera es el momento perfecto.
Sé que llevo unos cuantos conjuntos seguidos en blanco y negro pero la verdad no sé llevo unos días que solo me apetece esta combinación. Ayuda también que casi todo lo que tengo aquí es blanco y negro. Al final lo importante es sentirse cómodo con lo que uno usa y yo estoy de lo más cómoda así.

Even though I love the Rodeo Drive/Beverly Hills area, it’s not my favorite to hang out, but it is probably the best area to shop in L.A, Melrose is also amazing but let’s face it, you get all the amazing brands with the most complete stock in Barney’s, Saks and Nordstrom, and that you can’t get anywhere else, so of course I had to pay a visit! We were also at Jil Sander Navy Spring 2015 Presentation (will upload next week with it) but in the meantime here are the outfit pictures of that day. As you can see, awesome weather never fails and I was able to wear what has become my new favorite garment ever this Isabel Marant midi skirt.

Aunque me encanta la zona de Rodeo Drive/Beverly Hills, no es mi favorita, aunque sí debo reconocer que es con diferencia la mejor zona para ir de compras en L.A, aunque Melrose también es estupenda, la mas completa siguiendo esta, con la mayor variedad de firmas y stock todo gracias a Barney’s, Saks y Nordstrom, así que por supuesto que fui a dar una vuelta por la zona. También aproveche a pasarme a la presentación de la nueva colección de Jil Sander Navy (fotos la próxima semana). En el intertanto os dejo con mi conjunto de aquel día. Con tiempo tan estupendo, me he olvidado del invierno y de la primavera y ya me siento en modo verano, y no hay nada que este deseando llevar más este verano que mi falda midi negra de Isabel Marant. Un clásico, extremadamente versátil
