I am not into taking my camera to events so this picture was taken with my Iphone, I know the quality is lower so please excuse me for that. Still, I wanted to have an outfit picture to show you not just what I wear daily but also my evening style.

Esta foto es del evento del martes pasado: IV Pasarela de Moda La Razón en el Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid. Como no me gusta llevar mi cámara a eventos la foto esta hecha con el móvil y por ello la calidad es mas baja, pero bueno. La idea era tener una foto del conjunto para que podáis ver no solo lo que llevo en mi día sino también por la noche.

Such beautiful days we’ve been having it feels like late spring, so of course I wont get into my fall gear just yet. I was going to, but all of a sudden we have this mild weather and we must enjoy it while it lasts.
If you look well in this outfit you will see I am wearing something new. Do you know what it is? …It’s my sunnies! Finally I got to wear my Celine sunglasses for the first time. As you know I got them just over a month ago and while I love them to death I am very sober with colors and careful with prints so I had not yet worn them. Tortoiseshell sunglasses are beautiful but at times they can feel like too much if not matched properly. I love how they look combined with grey and military green so of course this outfit was perfect for them!

Estamos teniendo unos días de calor primaveral en Madrid así que por supuesto que no voy a comenzar con las prendas de abrigo aún! La verdad estaba motivada con el frío pero entonces llegó este tiempo y por supuesto debo aprovecharlo mientras dure.
Si ponéis especial atención a este conjunto veréis que llevo algo nuevo. Sabéis lo que es? …Son mis gafas! Finalmente he podido estrenar mis gafas de Celine que compré el mes pasado. La verdad me encanta pero como soy extremadamente sobria con los colores y cuidadosa con los estampados aún no había encontrado oportunidad de estrenarlas, no me gusta mal combinar las cosas y estropear un conjunto estupendo por culpa de un detalle como las gafas. (También soy extremadamente detallista!). Las gafas de carey son preciosas pero a veces pueden ser un poco estridentes según lo que se lleve. Me encantan como quedan combinadas con gris y verde militar así que este conjunto es sin duda perfecto para ellas!

For today my outfit is really in between seasons since the sun came out and temperature was really good. I mentioned before another way to transition nicely into fall is the boots/mini-skirt (or dress in this case) combo. Again i’m wearing my leather jacket, as I said before it is my go-to outerwear for this weather and of course subtly accessorized with my leather bracelet. Now this dress (two years old) is your everyday LBD that can be worn with basically anything (another year round essential) but it has a nice distinctive touch with the leather panel so it ads up to an otherwise very basic dress. Whenever I wear it I get lots of compliments so I guess that proves how a simple classic garment can be a showstopper just as much as any trendy one.

Hoy mi conjunto es muy de entretiempo ya que salió el sol y subieron las temperaturas, así que aprovecho a no darlo todo con las prendas mas abrigadas aún. Como mencioné hace poco otra gran forma de pasar del verano al otoño es la combinación mini falda (o en este caso mini vestido) y botines. He repetido mi cazadora de cuero pero ya sabéis que es de mis prendas mas socorridas para esta época del año. La prenda central de este conjunto el vestido que tiene un par de años es en apariencia el más básico de los LBD, con la excepción que lleva un panel de cuero que lo hace especial y resaltar de entre otros del mismo estilo. Siempre que lo llevo recibo comentarios muy favorables así que creo acertado usar este vestido como ejemplo de cuando una prenda clásica y simple funciona de manera espectacular sin necesidad de ser lo mas estridente o la máxima tendencia.

Colder weather is here to stay this time, so I have to go a step further in the layering. Leather jackets are one of my favorite outer garments and a much lighter option than coats when weather is not that cold yet. They are an essential on everyones outfit, and by leather jackets I mean real leather, so if you don’t have one yet I must advice to invest on a good one. There are so many options and variations of leather jackets that once you have your first, there is no stopping and it becomes a second level essential to get more of them in different colors, cuts, types of leather, color of hardware, etc. At the end no matter if you have one or ten you will end up wearing them like crazy, because let’s face it , it’s level of versatility, functionality and the timeless factors wins over almost any other outer garment.

El frio esta vez ha llegado para quedarse, así que hay que dar un paso mas cuando hablamos de capas. Las cazadoras de cuero son una de mis prendas de abrigo favoritas y una opción un tanto mas ligera que algunos abrigos, lo que las hace ideales para el entretiempo. Son un básico en el armario de cualquier persona por lo que si aún no tenéis una, recomiendo invertir en esta prenda que vais a usar infinitas veces. Hoy en día hay mil tipos de cazadoras de cuero (hablo de cuero de verdad, imprescindible que no sea imitación!) con variaciones en colores, cortes, tipos de piel, etc por lo que hay para todos los gustos, tipo de cuerpos y presupuestos. Cuando ya compras una creo que es inevitable que se vuelva una especie de adicción y al final acabemos buscando mas, la oferta es tan amplia que tenerla en todas sus variaciones al menos para mi acaba siendo necesario. En cualquier caso con una o con diez acabareis usándola/s todas muchísimo ya que su funcionalidad, versatilidad y lo atemporal supera con creces a casi cualquier otra prenda de abrigo.
