Wearing the holly grail of pregnancy clothes once again, the knit dress. Although I consider it a holly grail for fall clothing all together pregnant or not. For a sunny mild day I combined it with flats and accessorized it with a mini bag and a hair clip.

Hoy llevo una vez mas el indispensable estrella de otoño: un vestido de punto. La verdad que para una embarazada no hay nada mas cómodo pero si no lo estas también. Para un día de sol y con una temperatura templada lo he combinado con slippers y un mini bolso y para darle un toque diferente a un conjunto un tanto serio he añadido un accesorio de pelo en color blanco.

Remember a few outfits ago where I said I was wearing one of the two jeans that still fit? Well, this is the second one. The why this jeans fit is pretty obvious, I got it the wrong size to begin with and purchased one size bigger than my usual size. It was the only size left and I really thought that was my size, which was obviously not, bit decided to keep it anyhow. Sometimes one same brand will size differently between models and I thought this was the case, but at the end it has been a blessing, I have not had the need to purchase any maternity jeans and I’m so happy! It’s raining today so I’m wearing my jeans with boots and coat and therefore you can’t appreciate my twenty two weeks bump.

¿Os acordáis algunos conjuntos atrás cuando mencioné que llevaba uno de los dos vaqueros que aún me valen? Pues bien, este es el segundo. La razón por la que aun me puedo poner estos pantalones es bastante obvia, son el tamaño equivocado ya que los compré una talla más grande que mi talla habitual. Era la única talla que quedaba y realmente pensé que me valdrían, que si que lo hacían pero me estaban grandes de cintura, pero decidí quedármelos de todas formas. A veces, una misma marca talla diferente entre sus distintos modelos y pensé que este sería el caso, pero al final ha sido para mejor, ya que no he tenido la necesidad de comprar ningún vaquero de pre mamá y estoy encantada. Hoy llueve, así que los he combinado con botas y abrigo y, por lo tanto, casi no puede apreciarse mi tripa de veintidós semanas.

Such a rainy Friday. Like most Fridays this month. I am wearing another holly grail of non-maternity pregnancy clothing, a knit dress. Since it’s raining and I don’t own a trench (need to fix that ASAP) I decided on a coat and some boots. To finish, an oldie but a goodie my Lulu bag.

Un viernes lluvioso como casi todos los viernes este mes. Hoy llevo una de mis prendas esenciales para esta etapa: un vestido de punto. No creo que haya prenda mas cómoda para una embarazada y que de la seguridad que la puedes usar antes, después y siempre. Hoy, como llueve y a falta de una buena trenca, he decidido llevar abrigo, combinado con botines y uno de mis bolsos mas antiguos pero que me sigue encantando.

For a sunny fall day I decided to wear a navy/black combo with honestly whatever fits comfortably for my five plus month pregnant belly. These pants are the only pair of trousers that fit without a clothing stretcher, and thats simple because they are pull on. I am learning, experimenting and discovering all the styling tricks with this pregnancy so hopefully I can help other mothers to be in the styling department and myself if I am ever pregnant again in the future. The goal is to go through my pregnancy without buying/wearing any maternity clothes and show that you can live nine months in regular clothes that you’ve worn before and will wear in the future.

Hoy llevo un conjunto navy/negro que consiste en jersey y pantalones con zapatillas. Podría contaros que este es un conjunto pensado pero en realidad no lo es, es de lo poco que me va quedando que aun le vale a mi tripa de mas de cinco meses de embarazo. De los pantalones es el único para apto para mi situación y eso se debe nada mas que a su cintura elástica que funciona de maravilla para embarazadas. Estoy aprendiendo, experimentado y descubriendo nuevos trucos con este primer embarazo con el fin de ayudar a otras futuras mamás que les esta costando dar con conjuntos para el día a día y a mi misma en un futuro si vuelvo a quedarme embarazada. Mi meta es no comprar nada de ropa de pre mamá y aguantar todo el embarazo con ropa de normal, y demostrar que no hace falta gastar dinero extra para sobrevivir los nueve meses de embarazo, a ver si lo consigo!
