It becomes evident if you browse through this blog that I love monochrome. It’s easy to wear and easy to visualize when you are trying to figure out an outfit. Whenever I am having trouble picking out an outfit, I always go monochrome (mostly black because I own more black clothes, but hey! grey is an awesome option as well). Here I went all grey for the inside layer and added a black coat, for some contrast.

Resulta evidente que me encantan los conjuntos monocromáticos. Son fáciles de usar y aun más fáciles de crear. En esos días que me resulta imposible decidir por un conjunto, siempre acabo tirando de monocromáticos (en su mayoría en negro, pero vamos que el gris es una alternativa estupenda!). Hoy es un conjunto gris en la capa interior, pero con el abrigo y accesorios cambia completamente!

My outfit today is in part inspired by my boyfriend and Carolyn Bessette Kennedy. I will start by saying how much I love my boyfriend’s style and how much he inspires me. See, he always wears caps, mostly backwards and even though they look amazing on him I never though I would wear mine like that. I am also a big fan of caps, much before I met him, but I only own a pair and I wear them every now and then the regular way. The other day on Pinterest looking at old pictures of Carolyn Bessette Kennedy I saw a picture of her wearing her cap backwards, and I was instantly attracted to the look. It can actually look pretty good on women so what the hell, I decided to try it for and kind of love it now.
The rest of the outfit, well its just what I wear everyday: trousers and sneakers.

Mi conjunto de hoy esta inspirado en dos personas: mi novio y Carolyn Bessette Kennedy. Os explico. Me encanta el estilo de mi novio, considero que viste muy bien y de lo que mas me gusta es que siempre lleva gorras, hacia atrás. Yo también adoro las gorras, desde siempre y las uso desde mucho antes de conocerle, aunque de la forma tradicional. Pues bien el otro día en Pinterest mirando fotos antiguas de Carolyn Bessette Kennedy di con una en la que llevaba una gorra de la misma forma que mi novio, hacia atrás. Nunca, hasta ese minuto había considerado la posibilidad de llevarlas de esa forma, pero por cambiar decidí probar la mía hacía atrás y la verdad me encanta.
El resto del conjunto es lo que siempre suelo llevar: pantalones y zapatillas.

An all black outfit is always an amazing option, no matter the season or purpose it never fails. Today I am wearing my oldest pair of trousers (from 2006) with my black men’s sweatshirt and a classic black coat. I love to mix more casual, sporty garments such as my sneakers an cap with more classic and sleek ones such as my coat. An all black outfit can be very austere but it does not need to be boring, and with some white and red accents, you have that perfect touch to make it special.

Un conjunto todo en negro siempre es una opción estupenda, no importa la época del año o la ocasión jamás falla. Hoy llevo el par de pantalones mas antiguo de mi armario (de 2006) con mi sudadera de hombre y mi abrigo clásico. Me encanta mezclar prendas mas informales y deportivas con otras mas clásicas y elegantes. Un conjunto 100% negro es muy austero pero no tiene porque ser aburrido, con mínimos detalles en blancos y rojo cambia por completo y puede destacar y ser de lo mas original.
