Today I am wearing my new culottes by 3.1 Phillip Lim. I had wanted a pair of culottes since last summer, but to be honest I did not find a pair that was worth investing in. So as I always do I waited for the perfect pair rather than going for the first one I saw, and it was all worth it. I can not begin to explain how perfect these are, the quality is beyond fabulous and the material is perfect for year round. When investing in any garment of clothing we must not forget how long can we actually wear it, to determine if it is really worth it, summer only garments are not the most ideal to invest in, so we must keep an extra eye in this situations and not forget to pay attention.
For it’s first outing I decided to wear my culottes with heels, there is nothing more elegant than a good pair of classic heels, and this can make an outfit be more suitable for work or even a night out. This outfit is one than can easily be worn for a date night, or even a party, but could also be consider suitable for work. You will see much more of me in them, so be prepared for different alternatives on how to make culottes be more informal or even more summer-ish.

Hoy llevo mis nuevos culottes navy. Llevo queriendo un par de ellos desde el verano pasado pero la verdad es que no daba con un par que realmente valiese la pena como para invertir en el. Así que como siempre esperé a por el par perfecto en ves de pillar lo primero que viese. La espera dio sus frutos, este maravilloso par de culottes es perfecto, tiene el largo ideal y la calidad es insuperable. Una de las cosas que mas me gustó es que no es tan ligero, lo que lo hace ideal para usarlo todo el año. Algo a tener en cuenta cuando vamos a invertir en una prenda es cuanta parte del año la podremos usar, si es solo para verano no recomiendo darle tanta relevancia como las prendas que nos permiten mas uso.
Para usarlos por primera vez decidí combinarlos con tacones, ya que no se me ocurre nada mas elegante que clásico par de tacones negros. Esto hace que el conjunto pueda usarse para ir al trabajo o también para una cena o incluso para alguna fiesta. Por supuesto veréis distintas formas de usarlo de forma mas informal y también en un conjunto completamente veraniego, como mas adelante adaptado a otras estaciones.

Today I am wearing one of my favorite dresses ever that I got a few years ago. I had not yet posted any outfit pictures wearing it, though I used it a lot, I never had the opportunity to take pictures wearing it. I love that it is slightly different from the rest of my striped dresses, this one is close-fitted so it gives a different look all together.
Since it is so hot here in Madrid, I found no better choice than to pair with sandals, although it can be combined with almost anything, except for heels, I don’t think I would like the look of it mixed with heels, a little too much for my taste.

Hoy llevo uno de mis vestidos favoritos, que ya tiene unos años, pero por esas cosas de la vida no había tenido la oportunidad de hacerme fotos con el. Es un tanto distinto a mis otros vestidos a rayas, ya que este es ajustado y eso da un look completamente distinto a como sería un vestido mas holgado.
Como hace tanto calor en Madrid, la mejor opción es sin duda combinarlo con sandalias, aunque podría combinarse con lo que fuese (menos taconazos, en ese caso me parecería demasiado) pero por lo demás todo le va estupendamente.

As you know I am crazy over midi length everything so today it was the perfect day for just that. I am wearing my white midi skirt, this time with a sporty t-shirt. I don’t know why I like to wear this skirt with sneakers instead of the obvious choice that would be heels, but I am finding that to be the way I operate lately when it comes to clothes.

Como sabéis me encantan las prendas de largo midi, así que hoy decidí optar por esta opción. Combiné mi falda con una mi camiseta deportiva y zapatillas. No sé porqué me da siempre por llevar zapatillas o calzado completamente diferente a lo que en teoría seria lo más lógico para el conjunto, pero me he dado cuenta que es mi forma de llevar la ropa, y no puedo darle explicación. En fin, que es de lo más cómodo y eso siempre es un punto a favor, sobre todo con este calor.

Today I am wearing this fabulous dress by Wolford. I have been shopping Wolford tights for years, because they offer the best quality by far, but I had never tried their clothes, so when this collaboration opportunity came up, I was more than thrilled! As you know I hardly do any collaborations because I am extremely picky with brands I wear, and the same goes for brands I collaborate with. I would never want to be linked to a brand or garment I would not buy myself. So…this said…I am finally getting the chance to show you an amazing garment from an amazing brand.
This dress I’m wearing is called Fatal (you can purchase it directly from the link under) and it has to be the most amazing dress I have ever owned. Why? Well because it has endless ways of wearing it. It can be transformed into a midi dress, a mini dress, a midi skirt a mini skirt…so possibilities are endless! It comes in an amazing range of all dark colors, and of course the best part is all the options of wearing it, they are all classic and timeless, so this is as far from trendy as you will ever go, and that adds thousands of points in my book.
Now for my first time wearing it I thought well heels are the most obvious choice, but you know what? I don’t feel like showing you the most obvious choice, I want to show the most casual, summery but still classic way of wearing it. So I paired it with flat sandals and a tote bag. Of course you will get to see more of me in this dress, so I will show you more ways of wearing it in the future. I am now going crazy wanting all the colors, because honestly I feel this is one of the best investments one can make, you get more than five garments, all for the price of one.

Hoy llevo mi nuevo vestido favorito de Wolford. Llevo comprando medias en Wolford desde hace años porque la verdad tienen la mejor calidad pero nunca había probado sus prendas de vestir así que cuando me surgió la oportunidad de hacer esta colaboración me tomo un segundo decidir que quería hacerla. Como sabéis hago muy pocas colaboraciones ya que soy muy exigente en cuanto a la ropa que uso y lo mismo pasa cuando hay que colaborar con marcas. No voy a trabajar con ropa que no compraría yo misma, pero finalmente tengo la oportunidad de representar algo que realmente encaja con los valores que promuevo.
Este vestido es el modelo Fatal (podéis acceder a el a través del enlace que se encuentra mas abajo) y es sin duda el vestido mas especial que tengo. Porque? Bueno, porque tiene mil formas de usarse y no me refiero a las infinitas posibilidades de combinarlo, este vestido se transforma en varias prendas a la vez. Puede ser un vestido maxi, midi y mini, así como una falda maxi, midi y mini también. Esta disponible en una paleta estupenda de colores, todos sobrios y neutros y lo mejor a mi parecer es que todas las transformaciones que permite resultan en diseños clásicos y a-temporales, así que este vestido es lo mas alejado a lo trendy que puede haber y lo mas clásico a lo que se podría acceder.
Ahora bien, para la primera vez que lo uso pensé en combinarlo con tacones pero la verdad es que me parece la opción mas predecible también y me apetecía llevarlo de una forma mas veraniega y casual, así que decidí combinarlo con sandalias planas y un bolso estilo tote. Por supuesto veréis mucho mas de este vestido así que os iré mostrando poco a poco mas formas de usarlo. La verdad me parece tal el descubrimiento con esta prenda, que ya estoy deseando tenerlo en mas colores, de todas las prendas en la que invertir este verano esta me parece la mejor opción ya que es varias prendas en uno, eso resulta en un ahorro de tiempo y dinero, la verdad no se me ocurre nada mejor.
