My favorite color in the world is navy blue, and as the biggest fan of this color, after a LBD (little black dress) comes a LND (little navy dress). It’s another essential I highly advice to get after black, and the reason is simple: navy suits everyone! As a great neutral you will find it extremely easy to wear and extremely easy to find. Almost every brand in the world no matter the price range has something gorgeous in navy and i love that.
I’m wearing: Ray-Ban wayfarer sunglasses, Filippa K navy dress, The Kooples leather jacket, Miu Miu loafers and Anya Hindmarch bathurst bag.
I’m loving this cloudy days, we’ve been having! Not really cold, and not hot at all. Perfect weather to wear my plaid skirt. I usually wear it on winter with tights, and due to it’s thick material it’s really not ideal for warmer days. But since the weather is so neutral it’s been great for basically anything.
I’m wearing: Ray-Ban classic wayfarer sunglasses, The Kooples jumper, Isabel Marant Etoile skirt, Chanel flats and bag.
You know I’m a big fan of black trousers, and again i’m wearing one of my pairs. I don’t know why I find it so easy to find black trousers but I have the worst of luck with grey, tan and almost every other neutral. I need to stock up a nice khaki or tan for summer, but so far I have had no luck. Why oh why?
Sometimes I blame it on my location, sadly here in Madrid you can’t find most of my favorite brands A.P.C, Margaret Howell, Steven Alan, J Crew (which make awesome summer trousers) and buying them online is a little tricky without trying them on. That’s the thing about trousers I find it a must to buy them in person. Being able to try them on, with all the different fits you can find is the key.
With the craziest of weather this week layering is everything so I paired my trousers with a shirt under a sweatshirt, (a change from my usual shirt/sweater combos) and my gorgeous Gazelle’s thanks to Zalando.es
I’m wearing: Ray-Ban wayfarer sunglasses, Club Monaco shirt, Fruit of the Loom sweatshirt, The Kooples trousers, Adidas Gazelle sneakers and Louis Vuitton Alma bag.
Today I am wearing one of the classics above classics: the straight jeans. As time goes bye more and more styles are being introduced in jeans, and some become classics pretty soon, while others take more time to be accepted by everyone. Well this style of jeans has been around probably forever and is one of the most versatile you will find. They are not skinny, not wide, they have an average length and rise, they are as neutral as it gets. That is a great advantage when you don’t have the time to plan an outfit and need something that will transition easily from day into night, from casual to semi-formal, etc. Today I styled mine with heels but of course I could have done exactly the same outfit with flats or sneakers and it would have worked just as fine.
I’m wearing: Ray-Ban sunglasses, American Apparel shirt, The Kooples blazer, Gap jeans, Robert Clergerie heels and Chanel bag.
