A basic spring summer garment all of us have or will end up having in our closet is a pair of denim shorts. There are different types of denim shorts. I myself like them boyfriend style, longer without or with very few rips, as classic as it gets. I have two pairs in different washes and this one is the lighter one and I can happily say both are great options for the warmer months.
This time I paired mine with a sailor top, as you know I have a hard time letting long sleeves go once spring comes, I can carry them all year long without any problems.

Un básico para primavera y verano que todos o casi todos tenemos en nuestro armario son los shorts vaqueros. Hay distintos tipos de pantalones cortos y yo personalmente los prefiero si son vaqueros estilo boyfriend, es decir mas largos. Tengo dos pares en distintos tonos, este es el mas claro y la verdad ha resultado ser una prenda estupenda en los meses de calor.
Esta vez combine estos vaqueros cortos con mi top marinero, como ya habréis podido comprobar me cuesta desprenderme de las mangas largas aunque haga calor, de hecho podría seguir todo el año así sin problemas.

A classic garment that I consider a must for spring and all year round really, (but I end up wearing more in spring) is a striped shirt. It is a core item everyone has in their closet and that allows one thousand different ways of wearing. I have a few, and keep them coming, because they just compliment so well any pair of pants, jeans or skirt.
Today I am just wearing my striped shirt with one of my latest additions to my wardrobe, this pair of jeans by Isabel Marant Etoile. They are a match made in heaven and to top them off, my awesome pair of comfortable but stylish kitten heels.

Una prenda clásica que considero imprescindible para primavera…y todo el año (aunque suelo usar mas en primavera) es una camisa a rayas. Es un básico indispensable que todos tenemos en nuestro armario y que podemos usar de mil formas distintas. Yo tengo unas cuantas y no dejo de usarlas complementan a la perfección ya sea un vaquero, un pantalón o una falda.
Hoy he combinado mi camisa a rayas con mis vaqueros mas recientes, los llamados Niel de Isabel Marant Etoile. Combinan a la perfección, pero lo que realmente da el toque especial son estos zapatos de medio tacón tan cómodos.

I’m addicted to midi skirts, so far I’ve been a mini skirt girl but now I’m including as much midi skirts to my collection as I can. This skirt I got it last year at Croatia at the MaxMara store in Dubrovnik. It has been such a great addition to my wardrobe, I can’t believe I was hesitant at first. I was looking for something in black but at the end I decided to go for it, and I am so glad I did. It is so versatile, being a fabulous day piece but also transitioning amazingly to night time, even for more formal occasions. It is a great spring-summer garment, but can also be worn in cold months with a sweater, a coat and some boots.

Estoy completamente enganchada a las faldas midi, hasta hace poco era mas de faldas mini, pero últimamente intento incorporar la mayor cantidad de faldas midi que puedo. Esta falda la compre el año pasado en la tienda de MaxMara en Dubrovnik, Croacia. Ha sido un añadido tan estupendo en mi armario no puedo creer que tuviese mis dudas al comienzo. Estuve buscando algo en negro, pero al final acabe por atreverme con el blanco y la verdad estoy encantada de haberlo hecho. Esta falda es tan versátil, una prenda ideal para el día a día, pero también funciona de maravilla para la noche, incluso para eventos que requieren algo mas formal. Es la falda perfecta para primavera-verano pero también se puede llevar en los meses mas fríos, solo hace falta combinarla con botines, un jersey y abrigo!

So today I’m wearing my year round uniform, stripes, black trousers, white sneakers. I have worn similar outfits before, tons of times, but never this same combination, and frankly this has to be one of my favorite outfits from myself, and the one that most represents me. I am still in the hunt for more all white sneakers, and more black trousers in all shapes and materials so this is something you can expect to see me a lot in, but never the same, just different versions.

Hoy llevo un conjunto que vendría a ser mi uniforme personal sin importar la estación, camiseta a rayas, pantalones negros y zapatillas blancas. He usado conjuntos similares en multiples ocasiones, nunca jamás la misma combinación pero sinceramente este tiene que ser uno de mis conjuntos favoritos de mi misma, porque creo que es el que mas me representa. Aún sigo colecciones mas pares de zapatillas blancas y pantalones negros en todos los cortes y materiales existentes, así que os queda por ver mas versiones y re-interpretaciones de este mismo concepto.
