Spending the weekends by the beach (up north) and the weekdays in Madrid gives you a big notion on the different climates people conceive as summer. I don’t think I have yet lived a more suffocating summer (in this continent) as the one we have here. The only option to being happy with yourself is camisoles. Trust me I’ve tried every other top in my closet and this is the only one that actually brings me peace. This said, I might have to stock my closet with all the neutral colors available in this design, either that or I will suffocate to death.

En Julio, cuando pasas la semana en Madrid y los fines de semana en la playa (concretamente en el norte), es cuando realmente te das cuentas de las diferentes concepciones de verano que puede tener la gente. Personalmente no creo haber vivido (en este continente) veranos mas calurosos que los de Madrid. La única opción para sentirme medianamente fresca en esta época la he encontrado en las camisetas de tirantes. He probado con todas las opciones veraniegas en mi armario, y esta es la única que me trae paz. Dicho esto, creo que debería llenar mi armario solo con camisetas en este diseño al menos hasta que acabe el verano o puede que acabe sofocada de calor.

For a day at the beach nothing beats a good pair of denim shorts. The ones I’m wearing I made from an old pair of jeans of my mom’s from the 90’s. I wear them every summer. I love a longer length it seems now a days all you see is really short shorts where you can see half the ass and that is so not my style. So the best way to go if you are in my situation and have a hard time finding the perfect denim shorts is to go make your own. And it’s free, and unique. Can’t beat that.

Para un día en la playa no hay nada mejor que un buen par de vaqueros cortos. Los que llevo los hice de un par de mi madre de los 90. Los uso cada verano hace unos años. Me encanta este largo, pero la verdad resulta difícil encontrarlo. Parece ser que al día de hoy solo existen pantalones micro cortos en los que se puede apreciar medio culo. Y eso no es mi estilo. Así que si os pasa como a mi que no os veis reflejadas en lo que veis en las tiendas vuestra mejor opción es haceros uno. Es gratis y exclusivo. No se me ocurre prenda mejor.

Summer outfit in black and white. I’ve been doing all black for a while now, so a little change is good. As you can see ever since I got my Céline sneakers I’ve been wearing them non stop, after some wear they have become so comfortable that I want to wear them daily. So of course I took them with me to this summer road trip.

Conjunto de verano blanco y negro. Llevaba unos cuantos conjuntos todo negros (casualidad que justo iba así los días de las fotos, normalmente no suelo ir todos los días de negro) así que un cambio viene bien. Como podéis ver desde que me compré estas zapatillas prácticamente no he dejado de usarlas, pero la verdad es que me encantan. Después ya de bastante uso puedo decir que se han amoldado bien y resultan muy cómodas así que decidí que vendrían conmigo a este pequeño road trip por la zona centro y norte de España.

Third all black outfit in a row. I was originally going to wear another one of my PLAY t-shirts but it was in the dry cleaners so at then end I went with this one. What can I say, I love black.
