A monochrome grey outfit because well…I was on a hurry that morning (pictures are from Saturday), we had to drive little over an hour to get to the countryside we had to be there by a certain hour and I had one coffee not two like I usually do so I was sleepy and with no mood to think much on what to wear so I just did what I do in those moments and go monochrome. I usually go all black but first thing I saw was my grey coat hanging in the closet so I took it from there and this is the end result.

Un conjunto monocromático gris…porque bien, estaba con prisas por la mañana (las fotos son de sábado), tuvimos que conducir poco más de una hora para llegar al campo ya que teníamos que estar allí a una hora determinada. Tuve solo un café por la mañana no dos como lo hago habitualmente, así que estaba un poco dormida y claro, no estaba para pensar mucho en qué ponerme así que hice lo que hago siempre en momentos que es ir a por un solo color. Normalmente voy toda de negro pero lo primero que vi fue mi abrigo gris colgando en el armario así que lo tomé como punto de partida y este es el resultado.

When it comes to footwear I am all for comfortable, easy to wear shoes, mostly flats with an occasional heel every now and then but always focusing on the comfort and style factor. This pair blew me away since late summer when it first appeared. Now that its finally mine I am so in love I really need to stop myself from wearing it everyday. It super soft and comfortable and I love the elongated tip that gives it a cool twist from the classic “Mary Jane” flat. The fact that it’s velvet gives it a sophisticated punch adding to the one last fact to name…it’s navy! Finally I really fall in love with a pair of shoes in a color other than black! Today I wore them with a black-navy ensemble perfect to show off it’s lovely color.

En temas de calzado, mi prioridad es la comodidad y el diseño, teniendo en cuenta la calidad y lo fácil de combinar que pueda ser el zapato en cuestión. Generalmente llevo planos con algún que otro tacón ocasional pero lo que mas tengo en cuenta a la hora de comprar un nuevo par es si realmente sera fácil de usar o no. Cuando vi estos zapatos por primera vez me cuadraron en todos los aspectos, me parecieron una versión ideal de las clásicas “Mary Janes” con la punta alargada y en terciopelo. Que sean de color azul marino me parece un añadido ya que todos mis zapatos son negros y este probablemente sea de los pocos colores que me será fácil de combinar. Hoy los llevo en un conjunto negro/marino (como no) para hacer resaltar su color!

New coat! Really needed this second coat because I decided to part ways and sell my Isabel Marant Helias, which left me with only one coat. Now as minimalist as you can be, no one can live with only one coat! Winter is long, early spring is rainy and eventually after summer another fall will come, so investing on one last coat this season seemed like a smart move! I had several options but ended up going with this one by MaxMara that is actually from the runway collection. I originally had another outfit planned but the day was so grey and rainy that I had to go for my Céline boots once again. Underneath is an all black outfit with turtleneck and wide trousers.

Hoy estreno abrigo nuevo! Necesitaba urgentemente un segundo abrigo, ya que decidí vender el que fué mi segundo abrigo y esto me deja con solo un abrigo! Por muy minimalista que sea, nadie puede vivir con solo un abrigo! El invierno es largo, el comienzo de la primavera muy lluvioso, y después del verano otro otoño nos espera con lo cual invertir en un segundo abrigo me ha parecido lo mas sensato. Tuve unos cuantos en mente pero me decidí por este gris de MaxMara. Como el día fue gris y lluvioso tuve que hacer un pequeño cambio en mi conjunto original y volver a llevar mis botines Bam Bam. Debajo del abrigo podéis ver que llevo un jersey de cuello vuelto y pantalones anchos negros.

A cloudy, really windy winter day so I wore an all black outfit. I can’t stop wearing my ankle boots they have been my go-to item this fall/winter, they go with absolutely anything and they are so comfortable.
