Today’s store is one of (in my opinion) best stores in Madrid. I’ll explain. I love Miu Miu although i’m not as drawn to it as other brands, but in terms of store in Madrid this is probably one of the best in terms of size, stock and general characteristics.
It’s no secret Madrid stores aren’t very big and don’t have very good stock, something I clearly understand, but surprisingly this store would be an exception. It’s two levels one for accessories and another one for clothing make it very easy to shop in. The fitting rooms are big and roomy, and there are more than you would expect for this type of stores that are centered in selling accessories. The shoe stock in my opinion is the best, they have a huge selection and all sizes available! Even in sales.
What I like more about this store is it’s outside charm that goes straight to the inside too, everything is just perfect in terms of decoration, I know all brands in this category are very careful with the image of these stores but again this one specially seems to be so taken care of I just love visiting.
For me this one is a good 9.5/10

La tienda de hoy (en mi opinión) es de las mejores tiendas en esta linea que hay en Madrid. Me explico. Me encanta Miu Miu aunque no es de mis firmas favoritas pero hablando de tiendas en Madrid sin duda es de las mas completas en términos de tamaño, stock y características generales.
No es ningún secreto que en Madrid las tiendas no son muy grandes ni tienen mucho que ofrecer en comparación con otras ciudades (comenzando por Barcelona, el cambio es significativo) pero sorprendentemente esta tienda la considero la excepción. Sus dos plantas una para accesorios y otra para la ropa hacen que la experiencia de comprar en ella sea de lo mas fácil y agradable. Los probadores son grandes y espaciosos y la cantidad es bastante mayor de la que esperarías en este tipo de tienda. El stock en mi opinion es de lo mejor, tienen una selección muy variada y siempre encuentras talla! Inclusive en rebajas.
Lo que mas me gusta de esta tienda en particular es que el encanto viene desde la fachada hacia dentro, la decoración y el mobiliario es perfecto (se que todas las firmas suelen poner mucho esfuerzo en la imagen de su tienda) pero me da la impresión que en esta se salen en este aspecto lo que siempre hace que quiera volver.
Definitivamente un 9.5/10
Today’s store belongs to one of my favorite fashion brands: Margaret Howell. It is located also in one of my favorite cities: Paris. So it is of course one of my favorite places.
This is the only MHL store I’ve ever been too, I am dying to go to Tokyo and visit the amazing store they have there, but this one is pretty fabulous on its own. It is of a great size, not too big, not small. It is located in a small patio as you can see on the picture so it was really hard to find. Besides the fact that is a bit hidden, the location is fabulous in Place de la Madeleine, very close to some other favorites of mine (A.P.C). It is a one level store, minimal decoration and fabulous stock, they had everything of everything so that is a big yes. Besides that I don’t know what to say, only one S.A but very helpful.
Overall besides the hidden location the store is perfect, one of my favorites, and of course the best part it is not crowded, so you feel one and only, something we all love.
I give it a 9.5/10 just because it is hard to find if you go there for the first time.

La tienda que os enseño hoy pertenece a una de mis firmas de moda favoritas: Margaret Howell. Esta ubicada en una de mis ciudades favoritas: Paris. Sumando estos dos factores se podría decir que es uno de mis sitios favoritos.
Esta es la única tienda de la firma en la que he estado, me muero de ganas de visitar la mega tienda/café que tienen en Tokio pero aún que no sea comparable la de Paris es de hecho estupenda. No es excesivamente grande ni tampoco es pequeña, tiene el tamaño perfecto. Esta ubicada en una especie de patio de un edificio lo que hace muy difícil dar con ella por primera vez. Sin contar este detalle, la ubicación es estupenda, en la plaza de la Madeleine, cerca de muchas otras tiendas estupendas. Es una tienda de un solo nivel y el interior esta decorado de lo más minimalista y el stock que tienen es estupendo, todo de todo. Solo añadir que se estaba de maravilla no había casi gente y aunque solo había una dependienta, no había que esperar para ser atendido, fue muy agradable.
Solo por el hecho de estar escondida le doy un 9.5/10
When it comes to this particular store I have mixed feelings. On one hand Chanel is my favorite fashion brand in the whole universe, on the other hand I think this store is probably the worse Chanel store of them all. Why? I will tell you all about it.
When I say Chanel is my favorite fashion brand in the world I mean it, I really do. I have been a fan of Chanel ever since I was a teenager and the one big reason is what lies behind it. I identify myself with Chanel and I admire what they have done, it is classic, timeless, always in the same line, no matter how many twists and turns each collection has, no matter how much it evolves Chanel always stays on focus, it has this continuity that starts back in 1909 and that my friends is something hard to do. Now just because Chanel is my number one does not mean I am going to be a fan of every Chanel store in the world, unfortunately they are all very different from one another and from it’s original, flagship store in Paris.
Chanel Madrid store is very small (see picture) compared to all Chanel stores I’ve been to, and sadly the stock is limited as well. It is fine if you are looking for a classic pair of flats or for a classic medium flap, but if you are after seasonal items, then you are in for a disappointment. First of all the selection of items they bring each collection is sadly always the worse, and by that I mean the flashiest most adorned designs, loudest colors, etc. I was told each manager chooses what they “buy” for their store so the stock in a store highly depends on the manager’s tastes which here I am sorry to say is not very good. Besides that the seasonal items variety is terribly small. For my international readers if you are ever in Spain, Barcelona store is one hundred times better, bigger, more stock, more variety, everything!
Not everything is bad though, S.A’s are very nice and polite specially with men who are always a little lost, believe me my boyfriend is quite clueless and he has received great help and the most awesome customer service when going on his own.
Overall I would give it a 6.5/10 only because of the awful stock issues and size of the store.

Cuando hablamos de esta tienda en particular tengo sentimientos encontrados. Por una parte Chanel es mi firma de moda favorita y adoro to lo que hacen pero por otro creo que probablemente esta sea la peor tienda de Chanel de todas. Porque? Os lo voy a contar.
Llevo admirando Chanel desde que era una adolescente, no solo porque me gusten los diseños sino por lo que hay detrás de la firma. Me identifico completamente con los valores y la imagen de la marca: lo clásico, atemporal, siempre en la misma línea, no importa cuantas vueltas y enfoques den a sus colecciones no importa cuanto evolucionen nunca pierden su esencia, tienen esta continuidad que llevan arrastrando desde 1909 algo muy difícil de lograr ya que por mucho que existan casas antiguas han perdido por completo la imagen que tuvieron en sus comienzos. Ahora no porque Chanel sea mi número uno significa que voy a ser fan de cada una de sus tiendas, lamentablemente difieren mucho de unas a otras y sobre todo de su original, la primera tienda en Paris.
La tienda de Chanel en Madrid es pequeña (como podéis ver en la foto), y tristemente su stock es limitado. Si vais en busca de las clásicas bailarinas negras o el 2.55 mediano no tendréis problema pero cuando se trata de los items de temporada entonces la cosa cambia. La selección de items que traen cada de temporada son en mi opinión los menos deseables y a esto me refiero los mas recargados, en los colores mas estridentes y lo menos “usable” en general. Justamente un dependiente me dijo una vez que cada director/a de boutique escoge los items que van a vender en cada tienda, si esto es realmente así entonces cada tienda depende exclusivamente del gusto de su directora y en este caso no me parece muy acertado. Aparte de este inconveniente la selección de items de temporada también escasea bastante. Por eso para quienes estéis pensando en hacer una compra en España os recomiendo a ojos cerrados la tienda de Barcelona es mucho mas grande, tiene mas stock, la selección es impecable y hay mucho mas variedad!
Ahora bien no todo es malo en esta tienda, los dependientes son verdaderamente agradables y eficientes, especialmente con hombres que compran solos que a decir verdad siempre están un poco perdidos en el tema de colores, diseño, tamaños, a mi novio le han ayudado mas de una vez y ha quedado encantado con el servicio al cliente y yo como consecuencia!
En general le doy un 6.5/10 mas que nada por el tema de stock y variedad.
This week, it’s time for Prada Madrid women’s store. This store is a few stores away from the men’s store which is quite comfortable if you are going his and hers shopping. It is a beautiful decent size store, that mostly focuses on bags. The shoe selection is not very good here but in the bag department I must say it is pretty good. There is always a lot of staff and very few customers I must say, and almost 90% of the time those customers are tourists.
The staff here is super friendly which makes the overall experience here good. I rather shop here than in the concession located at El Corte Inglés, because in my experience stores are always much more focused on the customer, have more stock, and you have more room to sit and they offer you a drink haha, sadly this not happening in the concessions here in Spain just yet.
Overall I would say this store is a good 9/10 only because of the stock issue.

Esta semana es el turno de la tienda de Prada (mujer) en Madrid. Esta a solo unos pasos de la de hombres lo que si vas en un plan de compras de pareja es bastante cómodo. El tamaño de la tienda es bastante decente comparada con las tiendas de firma que suelen haber en Madrid, centrándose mayormente en los bolsos. El stock de zapatos es bastante limitado, pero en cuanto a bolsos suelen tener un montón. Suelen haber muchos dependientes pero pocos clientes y el 90% son turistas, pero bueno eso no es raro en España, que le vamos a hacer.
El staff de la tienda la verdad si que son encantadores lo que hace la experiencia de comprar en Prada grata. Prefiero a ojos cerrados comprar aquí que en el corner de El Corte Inglés porque lógicamente las tiendas siempre están mucho mas cuidadas, la atención al cliente suele ser mejor y el stock mayor, y ya si sumamos el extra que te suelen ofrecer algo de beber en tienda (hablo en general en este caso no solo de Prada) cosa que no hacen en corners no hay donde perderse.
En general le doy un 9/10 únicamente por el tema stock.
