Band of Outsiders is one of my favorite brands out there, and of course browsing through the resort collections this one made me fall in love instantly! Very down to earth with a lovely color palette, classic cuts and just the right amount of print, it has it all! But what I love the most about this collection is how wearable it is, and that I find an element hard to find in current collections.

It is always an experience reading old magazines, and by old I mean from the 1960′s. Just by looking at the advertising you can visualize the whole concept of beauty and women back then, its kind of magic going back and observing how it has all evolved into today’s standards.

This pictures are a month or two old, so this outfit is more of an “early spring” outfit. Im wearing one of my favorite pair of shoes and one of the best buys I ever made. I wore this pair of loafers all fall/winter and big part of this spring.

Summer Dresses

Another summer essential: dresses. I love dresses because they are so easy to wear you just pair them with whatever shoes you want et voilá! Most dresses transition easily to fall with socks or tights so it ends up being a good investment.

Summer Essentials

Two essential garments for summer: sleeveless shirts and summer skirts. I am the worst possible buyer of summer clothes, I end up buying shoes or start getting ready for fall so this year I MUST focus on these. I made a selection of my favorites, though some of this garments are from past seasons it is easy to find similar garments in this current one (that is one of the wonders of classics!).

It has been a really cold spring here, this is why you see me with so many sweaters. But now it seems temperatures are rising, not that I love it but there is no other option than to give summer clothes a try.

What I love about this woman first of all is how gorgeous she is, not only at a young age but today she still is breath taking beautiful. Of course there is also her style that is so inspiring my favorite of hers is her hair cut (bob with bangs) and how she styled her beanies/caps.

Margaret Howell is one of my favorite designers/brands. I am crazy in love with this collection, probably my favorite for this season. The very strong sailor accents work wonders for summer clothes. No need for color, no need for print, no need for sky high platforms, with simple elements such as cropped trousers and t-strap flats this collection proves that less is more.
