NEW BEAUTY ESSENTIALS

Meet my new beauty essentials the Porefessional balm and Hello Flawless oil-free foundation.

A long time ago…I would say two years…my skin started going downhill. I have always had oily skin, but as of lately I started to get what I thought was some weird case of acne. I went to dermatologists, and cosmetologist with the hope of some solution, but after getting hormonal exams, and all of the sort everything seemed to be fine and normal, and all I got were different explanations. They blamed it on my eating habits, or medication, they even suggested I wore no makeup for like a few months…which is something unreal for most women. At the end, just about two months ago, while in Chile (I’m back in Spain now by the way) a dentist suggested it could be a simple makeup allergy. Some people are allergic to chemical components and should only wear certain types of products. Well, I never though it was my case, but after her suggestion I decided to go ahead and try what she used since she said she recovered in a few months herself from the same exact problem I had. It has been over a month for me now and I have already seen changes! I still have a long way to go, but I am so much better now! Hardly any “acne” and a softer skin.

So today I decided to share with you my new best friends, by Benefit Cosmetics a brand I had never tried before. In case you have a similar issue, you might want to try these, they are very worth it! Just be sure to give your skin at least a month to see signs of recovery, as this is a slow process.

Hi Trini, I have oily skin and very sensitive too. I want to try the primer now! A thing that have really helped me with the acne and breakouts problems is omega 3, I take a capsule every day, and drinking a lot of water help to keep the skin clear too.
And if you like those items from benefit, you should try Benetint! It is a cheek stain, that leaves you with a very subtle color and glow! I cant live without it.
Great post as always, you should do one with skincare favorites!

Thank you so much for the suggestion! I am starting to fall more and more in love with all of Benefit’s products so I will definitely try Benetint!
I will do a post with skin care favorites, it is a great idea, hopefully all readers can share and exchange their take on different products.

Give REN’s ClearCalm 3 Gel Cream a try. I had awful skin, and this is and still is my miracle skin care cream.
