Every single season you can see that I share with you my favorite collections. Sometimes I share with you X designer and sometimes Y, but the ones that always repeat itself no matter what are two: Margaret Howell and The Row. I feel the most identified with this two. Today I am talking about the last one.
Resort and Pre-Fall are always my favorite collections I don’t have a reason exactly but I believe since they are in between weather, designers use them as a bridge between their two most important collections SS (spring summer) and FW (fall winter). Since I am the biggest fan of in between weather it might somewhat be predictable that I gravitate towards this collections. In this one in particular the color palette (as usual) is on point, and the garments are dreamy. Classic, versatile and flowy (they look comfortable too)! I wish I could afford the whole collection or at least half because I would have it in my closet as of yesterday.

Cada temporada me gusta compartir con vosotros algunas de mi colecciones favoritas. Hay veces que os enseño X diseñador y otras veces Y, sin embargo hay dos que siempre repito: Margaret Howell y The Row. Me identifico totalmente con la estética de estas firmas. Hoy os hablaré de la segunda.
Resort y Pre-Fall son mis dos colecciones favoritas, no sé exactamente por que, pero creo que es por que son de entretiempo, se usan como puente entre las colecciones invierno y verano, y yo como soy tan de entretiempo me siento atraída a estas. Esta en particular tiene una paleta de colores que me encanta y las prendas son clásicas, versátiles y con movimiento, parecen muy cómodas también! Ya me gustaría poder pillarme la colección completa, de ser así estaría en mi armario desde ayer!

It’s been a while since I last wore this lovely striped dress. I have a few and I wear some more than others, and the thing with this one is even though I love it, the fabric is only suitable for in between weather. Not ideal for summer and for winter it works fine, but you usually end up covering the dress with more garments and it doesn’t really show. So I use it the most in spring. A great alternative to flats (how I usually wear my striped dresses) is sneakers. They work really well with any dress, in this case I was feeling matchy matchy so I went for the same colors that my dress has, but black or grey would work just as fine.

This sneakers need no introduction, they are a classic among classics. I used to own this same model on the early 2000’s. But of course I was not the only one, everyone at school owned a pair, girls and boys. I remember some of my classmates had them with the stripes in so many different colors, I on the other hand had one of the classics, the all black with white stripes, just the opposite as this one. Now that pair I used so much so naturally now that you can find them everywhere I wanted to get it again. I was either planning on getting that one or this one, which ever I could find first.
Now that was over a year ago! And I was unable to find my size. So I searched and searched and searched, even in L.A they were SOLD OUT big time. Just my size though. Bad luck! Finally I was able to find this pair, half size bigger but it’s not that big of a deal. It was either that or nothing forever, so I went for them!

Estas zapatillas…no hace falta que hable de ellas, todo el mundo las conoce ya que son un clásico de entre los clásicos en zapatillas. Yo tuve este mismo modelo pero justo en colores opuestos (negro con rayas blancas) a comienzo de los 2000. Recuerdo que en el colegio todo el mundo las tenía. Las chicas las tenían con las rayas en diferentes colores, algunas en azul claro, verde, etc. Pues bien, desde que las relanzaron (con pequeñas actualizaciones) que llevaba queriendo comprarme las mismas que tuve en aquella época. El problema? Llevan agotadas mas de un año en mi talla. Solo mi talla claro. Busque en todas partes, incluso en L.A fue imposible encontrarlas. Pues bien, tuve la gran idea de buscarlas aquí (Santiago de Chile) y aunque tampoco encontré mi talla ni el color negro con blanco, si tenían en media talla más en blanco con negro. La verdad que no es tan terrible la diferencia en el tamaño así que opte por comprarlas ya que a saber cuando vuelvan a aparecer en mi talla exacta.

One of my favorite combinations of colors of all times for sure is navy and black. I love both colors so much, that when mixed together I love them even more. I believe they suit everyone and they are so easy ti wear. I specially love to wear them in spring and summer, it is a refreshing alternative to what everyone else is wearing, bright and light colors. Of course they are amazing in colder weather as well, but in the warmest months in it becomes more of a rare thing, to spot someone in all dark tones.

Una de mis combinaciones de colores favoritas siempre ha sido el negro y navy. Me encantan cada color por separado, así que juntos es adoración. Es una combinación que le sienta bien a todo el mundo y es tan fácil de usar. Especialmente me gusta esta mezcla para primavera y verano cuando la mayoría de las personas están en modo colores brillantes y estampados. Por supuesto en otoño e invierno también son geniales pero en los meses cálidos se convierte en algo mas difícil de ver, así que se acaba por ser una alternativa fresca y diferente.
