Today on Instagram you might have noticed how I posted this first picture asking you to guess what I just bought at Céline. (Well I know the title of this post gives it away now, but still I am felling like doing a reveal. Here we go:

Now you can already see that it’s a bag due to the dustbag and no box on sight, but which bag can it be? Hmmm… I realize that the most obvious choice would be a box, yes I love them to death but did not buy that today…maybe you are thinking on a luggage? No, I don’t really like those that much to buy one…

So what can it be?

Black vertical cabas!

I don’t know if any of you thought about it, but yes, I have been lusting over this bag for a year now, and believe it or not just recently decided to take the plunge.

As you know, I am a fan for everything classic, well not absolutely everything, but most classic and sober items. This bag is a classic Céline bag probably one of the most iconic ones and a wonderful practical piece.

I started to fall for this bag at this time last year when I was doing some shopping with my friend Omar and he was the one actually interested in purchasing this bag (I do think this bag is a pretty unisex and therefore wonderful for men!). I tried it on and it was love at first sight! Well after that I tried to track it down here in Spain but it was impossible none of the stores that carry Celine had it, so I kind of gave up. Last September they opened a Celine concession (think Galleries Lafayette but without the waiting) and I knew I was going to become a good, faithful, customer! I do have a list of Celine bags in my wishlist and I wanted to get one as a Christmas gift to myself, so I debated on a few options, but since I am traveling soon I decided to opt for this one, as it is THE perfect travel bag. Can be easily stored inside a suitcase and stores so much! Perfect to carry a camera and a bottle of water and anything one might need. I am so happy with this bag! I can’t believe how great it looks with any outfit, gives it a relaxed, casual touch that I love.

Como sabéis soy una gran fan de todo lo clásico, bueno…no todo, pero sí de una gran cantidad de prendas clásicas y sobrias. Este bolso es un clásico de Céline, probablemente de los más icónicos de la firma y sin duda una pieza estupenda y muy práctica.

Mi primer encuentro con este bolso fue el año pasado cuando estaba de compras con mi amigo Omar. Le acompañe a probarse este bolso (que por cierto me parece una opción estupenda para hombres también ya que es a mi parecer un bolso unisex). Fue probarme el bolso y enamorarme al momento! Jamás lo hubiera considerado hasta ese momento. Lamentablemente este bolso en negro es bastante difícil de conseguir ya que se vende como churros y en un país/ciudad sin tienda de Céline la cosa se complica bastante. Que maravilla cuando este pasado Septiembre abriesen el primer punto de venta Céline en España y que fuese en Madrid! Claro que estaba encantada, aunque se que será mi perdición! Ahora bien tras una larga lista de bolsos de Céline en mi lista de deseos el tema era escoger cual sería el primero que compraría (y el segundo de mi colección). Como se aproximan unos cuantos viajes la verdad sentí que la mejor opción era sin dudarlo el modelo Cabas, ya que es ideal para viajeros frecuentes. Se guarda fácilmente en cualquier maleta y por su tamaño es estupendo para llevar todo lo necesario cuando se esta de viaje: cámara de fotos, botella de agua, etc. Y por si fuera poco el toque informal y casual que tiene este bolso en contraste con todos los demás que son estructurados es sin duda un factor que me ganó por completo.
