Monochrome navy outfit. It actually has some grey, but since it is a charcoal grey it looks kind of navy too. We had nice weather this weekend, a little milder so no socks again! Won’t last long I bet.

Today I am finally doing what I promised! My complete guide to Santiago de Chile. I grew up in this city, and it has changed a lot since I last lived here. It changes so much every year it gets better, and better, more fun, more modern, more luxurious and more diverse. If you ever get the chance to go to South America I really advise you to come here. I recommend coming from October to May those are the warmer months, where you will be able to make the most of your trip.

Hoy por fin os dejo con mi guía completa de Santiago de Chile! Crecí en esta ciudad y la verdad es que ha cambiado muchísimo desde que me fui. De hecho cambia de un año a otro, cada año esta mas divertida, mas moderna, mas lujosa y mas diversa. Si alguna vez tenéis la oportunidad de viajar por el continente Americano, os recomiendo bajar a Chile, en concreto a Santiago. Las mejores fechas serían de Octubre a Mayo, aunque de ser posible evitar Febrero, que es nuestro Agosto y es cuando la ciudad esta vacía hay un calor horrible y muchos comercios están cerrados.
WHAT TO SEE:
– Correos building: located downtown the first mail post building of the city attracts a lot of tourist because of it’s unique architecture on the outside and it’s unique antique mail boxes on the inside.
– Bolsa de Comercio: located on New York street it resembles NYC. Beautiful architecture and a great picture spot.
– Cerro Santa Lucía: great spot for a complete view of the city. It has a lot of great pictures spots and when you reach the top you can watch Santiago’s skyline.
– Cerro San Cristobal: even better views of the City than the one before, it has a restaurant in the upper part, and you can buy local crafts.
– Parque Bicentenario: relatively new park in the city, located in Vitacura one of the best neighborhoods in the city it is the best place to relax, take a walk, feed the animals in it’s large pond and have a great lunch in it’s restaurant Mestizo.

QUE VER:
– Edificio de Correos: ubicado en el centro de la ciudad todos los años el primer edificio de correos de Chile atrae a turistas curiosos por su magnifica arquitectura y sus peculiares buzones en el interior.
– Bolsa de Comercio: ubicado en calle Nueva York que lleva este nombre por su similitud con dicha ciudad, es un edificio único que vale la pena ver.
– Cerro Santa Lucía: magnificas vistas de la ciudad, se pueden ver todos los rascacielos y enormes edificio del centro.
– Cerro San Cristobal: alberga el teleférico y un magnifico restaurante, vistas aun mas amplias y extraordinarias de toda la ciudad.
– Parque Bicentenario: un parque muy nuevo ideal para un paseo o simplemente para relajarse. Tiene una preciosa laguna con cisnes y peces que se pueden alimentar. También alberga el restaurante Mestizo para una comida inmejorable.
WHERE TO EAT:
– Mestizo Restaurant: conveniently located in Parque Bicentenario it has one of the cities best locations, and the food is delicious! It mixes peruvian and chilean cuisine therefore the mestizo which means mixed race.
– Naoki: one of South America’s 50 best restaurants and probably the best japanese in Chile. Best sushi and general japanese cuisine. Great service!
– Europeo: french cuisine. Luxurious restaurant, very expensive but so worth it. Service is amazing as well. Located in Vitacura.
– Castillo Forestal: this has one of the best locations in Santiago, downtown at Parque Forestal. It is a small castle at the park, where you can eat indoors or outdoors in summer. Best food ever, chilean fusion cuisine. One of my favorites.
– Emporio de la Rosa: best ice-cream in Chile. Original flavors you wont find anywhere else in the world. Also serves lunch, delicious salads!

– Restaurante Mestizo: una de las mejores ubicaciones de Santiago en plena naturaleza. Mezcla comida chilena y peruana.
– Naoki: uno de los 50 mejores restaurantes del continente, y probablemente el mejor japonés del país. Buena relación calidad precio y excelente atención.
– Europeo: comida francesa de lujo. Caro pero vale la pena.
– Castillo Forestal: ubicación estupenda es un pequeño castillo en el Parque Forestal en el centro de la ciudad. Deliciosa comida fusión chilena.
– Emporio de la Rosa: cadena heladería con los mejores helados del país y los más originales.
WHERE TO SHOP:
– Hermes: located in Alonso de Cordova one of the two main luxury shopping spots in Santiago you can find the most amazing bags and jewelry in the world.
– Salvatore Ferragamo: right in front of Hermés, shoes and bags for men and women.
– Louis Vuitton: located at Parque Arauco a shopping mall with a luxury area outside you can bags and shoes for the luxury lovers
-Dolce & Gabbana: located at Parque Arauco as well, all the best dresses, bags and shoes!
– Burberry: we don’t have a Burberry store anymore in Spain, just an outlet one, so it is always nice to find one abroad. Classic trenches and coats for men and women.

– Hermés: ubicado en la calle Alonso de Cordova una de las dos principales áreas para las compras de lujo en Santiago. Bolsos y joyas de lujo.
– Salvatore Ferragamo: justo enfrente de Hermés, zapatos y artículos de cuero para hombre y mujer.
– Louis Vuitton: ubicado en el centro comercial Parque Arauco es otra zona para las compras de lujo en la ciudad.
– Dolce & Gabbana: misma ubicación que el anterior.
– Burberry: en España nos quitaron la tienda que teníamos y nos dejaron solo un outlet así que siempre es estupendo encontrarse una tienda de la firma inglesa en cualquier país del mundo. Trenchs y abrigos clásicos para niños, mujer y hombre.

– Ritz Carlton Hotel: Luxury five stars hotel.
– W Hotel: Has a great restaurant and is one of the newest, hippest hotels in the city.
– Lastarria Boutique Hotel: if you like small, peaceful but great quality this is for you. Located downtown in one of the chicest neighborhoods.
– Radisson Plaza Santiago: great location close to everything, classic, modern and sober.
– The Aubrey Boutique Hotel: This is one of those cool, cool hotels. Modern luxury for young couples.

– W Hotel: hotel joven y divertido con un gran restaurante que alberga las mejores fiestas de la ciudad.
– Lastarria Boutique hotel: precioso, si os va mas el rollo pequeño pero sofisticado esta es la mejor opción.
– Radisson Plaza Santiago: excelente ubicación cerca de todo. Clásico, sobrio pero a la vez moderno.
– The Aubrey Boutique Hotel: lujo moderno. Un hotel simplemente cool. Ideal para parejas jóvenes.
Cold winter weather does not mean boring clothes and today I felt like playing with proportions. The weather is cold yes, really cold compared to being in summer a few weeks ago, but not as cold as the rest of Europe, so fortunately going out like this was no trouble at all.
Today I am wearing my new Isabel Marant “Dixon” skirt I got on the sales early January but could not get myself to wear it since it was shipped to my home in Spain. After waiting for over a month I was finally able to wear it, and man was I happy! I had dreamed with this skirt ever since I saw it HERE (third picture). Yes, it’s the same skirt from the add of course it longer on me than on the model but I kind of like it better that way. It is super comfy and a classic versatile piece to wear forever. I love how it makes a perfect figure, this type of skirt is fantastic because it suits every woman no matter her figure (if worn right). The only but would be I have to pull it up a little bit to walk normally, otherwise it becomes a “geisha skirt” as my boyfriend labeled it.
Besides my new skirt, i’m also wearing my new The Row sunnies and my old The Kooples parka for the first time in the blog. I don’t know why I had never really posted and outfit wearing it, I guess I don’t really wear it that often i’m more into coats. Anyhow it is a life saver for really cold days.

Que haga un frio horrible no significa que debamos usar ropa aburrida, puede ser clásica, sobria y divertida a la vez. Hoy decidí jugar un poco con las proporciones. Es cierto que el frio es mucho comparado con el clima cálido en el que me encontraba hace unas semanas pero a la vez no es tan frío como en otras partes de Europa así que en Madrid tenemos suerte de poder prescindir de ciertas prendas (como medias en este caso).
Hoy llevo mi nueva falda midi de Isabel Marant, el modelo “Dixon” la compre en rebajas por internet y fue enviada a Madrid así que hace unas semanas que finalmente pude usarla. Llevaba deseándola desde que la vi AQUI (tercera foto). Sí es la misma falda que lleva la modelo y sí me esta más larga obviamente pero aun así me gusta más. Es super cómoda, el diseño es clásico y versátil lo único es que tengo que subirla un poco para caminar pero no es un problema debido a su material.
También llevo mis gafas nuevas The Row y mi parka de hace unos años. Es la única que tengo y es primera vez que actualizo fotos con ella pero la verdad es que no la uso mucho, no es mi prenda favorita ya que sin duda prefiero los abrigos, pero para los días mas fríos de invierno es indispensable y también para un conjunto más casual.
