My favorite show from NYFW: The Row.

What is not to love from this collection? Classic, sober, nothing pretentious. I would wear every single piece of this collection no questions asked! What I love the most about it is the socks+brogues combo, that contrasts so well with the flowy, feminine dresses/skirts and adds up a nice masculine touch to the perfect cut suits.

To shop The Row current collection:

Holidays 2013: Outfit 6

Gap SweatshirtGap SweatshirtGap SweatshirtGap SweatshirtSofia Coppola For Louis Vuitton

Today i’m wearing my new favorite sweatshirt, which was given to me as a gift recently, nothing fancy at all but I just can’t stop loving it, I don’t know why. I guess it reminds me of my childhood/teenage days when I used to wear lots of stuff from Gap. I still keep some of those garments and sometimes use those old t-shirts as my running tees. I like how they still make very similar designs to the ones they did back then.

I’m wearing: Ray-Ban sunglasses, GAP sweatshirt, American Apparel skirt, Superga sneakers and Sofia Coppola for Louis Vuitton handbag.

Birkenstock Sandals Style Birkenstock Sandals StyleBirkenstock Sandals StyleChanel Classic Flap BagBirkenstock Sandals Style

So I’v been wearing my Birkenstock for the most part inside the house as my summer slippers for the past two months. I love them with jeans and trousers but I was never really sold on them with shorts or skirts, and since the heat is so unbearable here in South America to even consider wearing pants, I didnt really consider them for daily outfits until now. I was getting dressed and last thing I was changing was my shoes when I looked in the mirror and loved how the look with the outfit, so I just left them on!

Im wearing: Ray-Ban sunglasses, Club Monaco shirt, The Kooples skirt, J Crew panama hat, Birkenstock sandals and Chanel bag.

Inspiration: Jean Seberg

Jean SebergJean SebergJean SebergJean SebergJean SebergInspiration for today: Jean Seberg in the late 50’s early 60’s. I am deeply inspired by all her outfits and pixie hairstyle in Bonjour Tristesse/A bout de Souffle movies so if you have the chance you HAVE to watch them. To me there is nothing better than watching a movie that is not just entretaining but also inspires you aesthetically and these movies certainly will.
