Spring 2014: Outfit 13

Sandro Dress Chanel FlatsSandro Dress Chanel FlatsSandro Dress Chanel FlatsSandro Dress Chanel FlatsSandro

Today i’m wearing one of my favorite dresses ever. I’ve had it for a couple of years now, and I can’t stop wearing it like crazy. Besides another (fancier) LBD this would be top on my list. The fabric though is thick so it makes it perfect for fall/winter/spring, but summer is a big no no with this dress. What I love the most about it is the versatility. When I saw it in the store immediately tons of outfit ideas starting flowing through my mind, and it was clear to me it would be a great investment. Over two years later, i’m so happy I did, it has become my go-to dress whenever I don’t want to think too much on what i’m wearing (which is pretty often by the way). I have worn it with flats, heels, boots, wedges, you name it, and of course it looks great with any type of tights for winter, and almost every coat I own. To me that is the first characteristic that defines a great garment: VERSATILITY.

I’m wearing: Ray-Ban classic wayfarer sunglasses, Sandro dress, The Kooples leather jacket and Chanel both flats and bag.

Dear Trini, I’m going through all your pictures in the blog, from the very top posted years ago. And I can feel that how charming, beautiful, confident and elegant woman you becomes when time passing by. I don’t know how to express myself precisely but it’s like girl-lady transition..you show me the possibility that one can be a better person, no fears of time and age when you’re “no longer young”..

Rita! Thank you so much for such a lovely comment. I don’t know your age, or what precisely you mean by “no longer young” (I think I get what you mean, no longer a teen/student in your “wild days”?)
Anyhow, please don’t feel that you are no longer young. To me a young woman is in between the ages of 0 to 40 years old, and after that you don’t become old, you become experienced with a better wardrobe, but never old!
