I don’t really know if this shoes should be called wedges or chunky heels, but either way they are a fabulous pair footwear that is really comfortable. I first fell in love with them at the Acne Studios store in DTLA last March and I instantly added them to my wishlist.

I only have one other pair of wedges that I got years ago by Isabel Marant and I wear them so much in summer, specially to go out for dinner or parties, and I with Madrid’s heat it is unbearable to wear closed shoes in summer, so I needed a new pair desperately. I was so glad when I found the last pair online was my size, because this shoes in particular had all the elements I was looking for, and so they eventually won over the other heels/wedges I had my eye on.

La verdad es que no se si estos zapatos se consideran cuñas o son tacones de los gruesos, de igual forma son un estupendo par, realmente cómodos. Me enamore de ellos por primera vez cuando los vi en la tienda de Acne Studios en el centro de Los Angeles y de inmediato los añadí a mi wishlist.

Solo tengo otro par de cuñas (o tacones de verano) que compré hace años de Isabel Marant y la verdad es que los uso un montón en estas fechas sobre todo para salir por la noche ya sea de cena o de fiesta. Con el calor que hace en verano en Madrid llevar zapato de tacón cerrado se hace insoportable así que necesitaba algo en esta línea. Tuve suerte de encontrar el último par online en mi talla, porque la verdad de los otros que tenia vistos este es el que cumplía con todos los elementos que buscaba.
