One of my go-to summer dresses has been this striped one, since the day I got it (about 2.5 years now). It is as classic and versatile as it gets: sleeveless, striped and A shaped. It’s so easy to wear, it has always been a five minute thing to get ready with this one. I can wear it with anything in my closet, of course thats not hard to achieve in my case, all my items are black, navy, grey and stripes, but for someone not in that line I bet it’s just as easy. I have posted a number of entries with this dress, and so far you’ve seen me wear it with sneakers and flats, and today since it was so hot sandals was the only sane option.

Uno de mis vestidos mas socorridos en verano es este que llevo hoy, un clásico a rayas de Wood Wood. Me encanta porque es de lo más versátil lo que implica que lo puedo combinar con absolutamente todo en mi armario (en mi caso eso no es muy difícil ya que todo es negro, gris, navy o a rayas) pero para alguien con un gusto mas variado imagino tampoco sera un dilema. Tiene una forma muy neutra que hace que no sea demasiado maduro, ni formal, ni femenino, ni nada en particular lo que le da aún mas campo para jugar con distintas combinaciones. He actualizado un par de veces ya conjuntos con este vestido conjuntando de diferentes formas, hoy sin dudarlo la única opción era con sandalias ya que ha hecho un calor horrible.

I just arrived at Santiago,Chile so now i’m in summer late spring. Weather is terribly hot, nothing like back home but what can I say, I am happy to not be in the cold!
Of course being on holidays does not mean I will not be working or updating my blog, on the contrary I will be focusing my holidays on showing you around where I am at, what I am wearing and what my location has to offer fashion wise!
I do however have these pictures I took last weekend back home. I think I have another outfit from a few weeks back and after that it will be summer pictures for a while. Of course no matter the season, no matter the place the important thing is to focus on classic, austere fashion WORLDWIDE.

Acabo de llegar a Santiago de Chile lo que significa que ahora estoy en verano finales de primavera. Hace un calor terrible, nada que ver con el tiempo en Madrid y que os puedo decir, estoy encantada de dejar atrás el frío por un tiempo.
Por supuesto estar fuera de casa no significa que este de vacaciones y que deje de trabajar o de actualizar el blog, al contrario! Llevo mi trabajo conmigo y el blog también. Estas semanas que este fuera voy a enfocar el contenido a mostraros un poco de donde estoy, lo que llevo y que tiene el lugar donde estoy para ofrecernos en términos de moda.
Tengo sin embargo, estas fotos del fin de semana pasado para enseñaros, y creo que tengo algún otro conjunto de un par de semanas atrás pero a partir de entonces sera ropa de verano. Al final no creo que importe el clima o el lugar donde este, lo importante es que seguiré transmitiendo sobre moda clásica y sobria solo que en modo viajera.

Today you will have to excuse me! So many pictures, but for once I thought why not, lets show all the details!
For this outfit I got inspired in myself, specifically in THIS OUTFIT. Yes I usually do that, scroll on my pinterest “My Outfits” board for some inspiration and it does work wonders! I figure who knows me better than myself? No one! Plus I already know I have all the garments.Of course I also have inspiration come from other sources, but the best one of course is my own self.
As you can see I am wearing my beautiful new Céline bag and my gorgeous summer jumper by Acne in a very interesting grey design. This last purchase was one I was not so sure of at first but my friend Omar assured me I was going to wear it a lot, and he was not wrong. I love it’s marble – sprinkled grey motif, reminds me of something similar I had as a kid, and of course (tip here!) is a great alternative to a plain color grey sweater. When you want to do something bolder than a one color pattern but are not feeling any printed design this is an awesome way to go! A little bit of both worlds classic and fun!
Usually when I wear my dungarees I am reminded of a little boy or girl, and infant in general terms, and I know for someone in her twenties well…children should not exactly be an inspiration but in this case it was, I was feeling that extra playful childish vibes, and I went with that! I really love the result of the cap in the outfit, it might be a result of my inner child, but I like the look because it is still very casual, neutral and classic in a less obvious way. What is more classic than your everyday cap? It’s more classic for men than for women, but classic none the less. To finish my outfit my very comfortable Nike Flex sneakers and for the cold my leather jacket.

Por hoy vais a tener que perdonarme, creo que me he pasado un poco con las fotos pero quería mostrar bien los detalles.
Para este conjunto me inspiré en mi misma, en ESTE CONJUNTO en particular de comienzos de año. A veces lo hago, voy a mi tablero “My Outfits” de Pinterest y me voy retrocediendo en busca de inspiración. Tiene bastante sentido inspirarse en un mismo, nadie te conoce mejor y sabes que tienes todas las prendas! Por supuesto que tengo otras fuentes de inspiración pero ninguna tan acertada como yo misma.
Como podéis ver estoy usando my nuevo bolso de Céline y también estreno para fotos este jersey de verano que compre por recomendación de mi amigo Omar. Me encanta el diseño, no es un estampado del todo, es un jaspeado precioso que me recuerda a algo similar que tuve de pequeña. Este tipo de “estampados” son una alternativa estupenda a un solo color, pero también cuando queremos algo un poco mas interesante que un color plano pero no tan estridente como un estampado. Nos da un poco de ambos mundos: clásico y divertido!

Today for a change I decided to share with you my real life, everyday essentials with my own pictures. You can say all my wardrobe is made out of essentials, I still have not checked all my must-have list so theres no room for more “seasonal” items. I could go on and on picturing all my wardrobe, but I decided to focus just on a few things, my CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT spring, summer, fall or winter garments.

Hoy os voy a enseñar mis prendas esenciales para el día a día con mis propias fotos. Se puede decir que todo mi armario esta hecho a base de prendas básicas. Como aún no he completado mi fondo de armario me limito a seguir añadiendo prendas principales en vez de comprar cosas mas de temporada. Podría seguir y seguir fotografiando todo mi armario pero hoy me limito y las prendas sin las cuales no puedo vivir, las que sirven para todo el año ya sea primavera, verano, otoño e invierno.
