Stripes again! This time paired with navy suit trousers, another good essential garment for in between seasons. I don’t wear my navy ones as much as the black ones, but still they are a core item in my wardrobe. This particular pair is lightweight so it’s not very appropriate for winter, therefore I have another pair more suited for cold months WORN HERE.
The trick with suit trousers is to find a good fit for your body otherwise it can be super uncomfortable and end up looking disastrous. Now a days, the variety you can find is amazing, they are made cropped, long, skinny, straight, flared, etc. That and the colors you can find can go from the classic black or navy to loud neons and wild prints (this last two cases horrify me, but it’s good to know there is a good selection for all tastes).
The pair i’m wearing today was gifted, so I did not choose them, but luckily for me they were a good fit for me. I am planning to purchase a grey pair for fall so in case you are looking for some interesting ones as I am, I will leave you my suggestions:

As you can see today…I AM WEARING HIGH HEELS! And if you have been following this blog you know how much I love mid-heels but also how little I wear high heels! It’s not that I don’t like high heels, actually I do, the thing is I love flats so much more. So between both I always end up buying the mid-heeled/flat version. Unfortunately whenever I needed/wanted to wear heels I was left with almost nothing so part of this year’s resolution is to invest more on heels.
This particular gorgeous pair of heels had my eye since last pre-fall collection starting popping up online, and lucky for me I got the chance to get my hands on them a few months ago. They are a taller (4 inch) slightly different version of the Tan-go shoes I own by Valentino. I loved mine so much I knew that I was not stopping at one pair!

Today I was honestly not expecting this kind of heat, and I did not dress appropriately. In spring I always take with me some kind of outerwear when I go out, because I know i’ll eventually get cold and need it, usually while going out in the morning. Today it was a terrible mistake as I did not need it. I could have gone in shorts and a t-shirt the whole day and I would not feel the tiniest bit of cold. Still I decided to wear it for the first picture, as it was part of my outfit today.

For a lovely spring day, i’m wearing some of my spring essentials, my military jacket that me and my mom got matching ones some years ago, and my grey sweatshirt. I did not mention these on my wardrobe essentials post, but I should have, because they are good basics for everyday.
