Wearing my new vintage Levi’s. Yes, I did it again, after the success and love that came from the black vintage Levi’s I got last November I decided to go for another pair, in regular everyday blue denim. This however is not a 501 it’s a slimmer (high waisted as well) version called 595. You can’t appreciate well enough but it’s even more flattering than the 501. I paired it with a navy sweater, black coat, boots and bag.

Hoy llevo mis nuevos vaqueros vintage Levi’s. Después del éxito con el par que compré este pasado Noviembre (501 en negro) me quedé con ganas de otro y hace unas semanas que adquirí estos en el clásico color azul vaquero. Me encantan y no puedo dejar de usarlos, igual que el par anterior, es una adicción. Este modelo me gusta aun más ya que son un poco mas ajustados en las piernas. Son el modelo 595 que aunque no sé las características especificas a mi me gusta más que los 501. Los combiné con jersey azul marino, abrigo, botas y bolso negro.

Wearing a black and brown ensemble, this has become my favorite color combination lately. I am wearing this coat almost every day with this terribly cold weather we are having, but it find to be one of those items that can easily go from classic and timeless to too much, it depends on the rest of your garments. Therefore when matching it I try to pick monochrome combinations, at least most of the time. Of course nothing is a sleek as an all black combo, so thats what I went for today.

Hoy llevo un conjunto negro y marrón, una combinación de colores que rápidamente se ha transformado en mi favorita. Llevo este abrigo casi cada día, ya que con este tiempo es el único que me mantiene calentita todo el tiempo. Ahora bien, me parece bastante complejo el combinarlo ya que es de esas prendas que puede pasar de simple y refinado a barroca y estridente en poco tiempo. Para evitar este último caso intento combinarlo la mayoría de las veces con un conjunto monocromático debajo. Y si de un solo color hablamos, no hay discusión que el mas sobrio y sofisticado es el negro por lo cual hoy me he decido por él.

The sun can bright any winter day, and today has been just lovely. Not a cold day, quite warm for winter. I am wearing a classic jeans + turtleneck combination underneath my classic black coat. This coat is a great essential, but not the warmest in my small collection, so I mostly wear it during fall and late winter. With a surprisingly warm weather for this time of the year I decided to wear it today as well. I could even have gone for flats, but I really am so in love with my boots right now, I am holding on them strong, I can predict boot weather will end very soon and I will miss them dearly.

Un día de sol puede alegrar el invierno a cualquiera, y hoy ha sido uno de esos maravillosos días. No solo el sol, si no que la temperatura ha sido estupenda, mucho menos frío de lo habitual y por ello hoy llevo ropa un poco mas ligera, en particular mi abrigo. Este abrigo es un básico estupendo pero no es el mas calentito de mis abrigos, por lo cual suelo usarlo mas en otoño o a finales de invierno cuando el tiempo mejora un poco. Hoy de forma excepcional el frío ha sido leve y por ello he decidido llevarlo. Tan ideal ha sido la temperatura que fácilmente podría haber llevado bailarinas, pero adoro tanto estas botas que me he decido por ellas una vez mas.
