As you can see from my pictures today, the weather is back to crazy, sunny one second, cloudy the next, and it’s been colder this past few days, so it’s outerwear time all over again.
One of the most suitable garments for this type of weather is my Petit Bateau striped top. Unlike my other stripes, this one is thicker and has a slightly higher neck too, so it works wonders with this climate. I wear it with absolutely everything and today i’m wearing it with one of my black pants, suit trousers to be exact. As I mentioned on my “Wardrobe Essentials” post, this is one of my core items of clothing because of its versatility and sleekness. Worn with sneakers it’s as casual as it gets, but as I have explained many times, I need the comfort factor in my daily outfits, and sneakers top that category.

We keep having wonderful sunny hot spring days here in Madrid and it’s time for short sleeves! I don’t wear much short sleeved tops, because I hardly have any. This is one of the very few I own, and my favorite of them all. Besides Chanel, Margaret Howell tops my list of favorite designers/brands and this top is from her MHL line from a few years back. I love the sailor accent it has, as you will see/have seen I own a good number of garments with sailor inspiration. I love the whole sailor vibes in clothes but done lightly, and this top is a great example.

Last outfit post of the month! Today’s outfit is all about comfort. We had a cold rainy spring day so I went for something cozy.

The weather keeps on being more wintery than anything right now. It gives me a chance to take some of my older coats out since I barely had any winter this year. The coat I am wearing today is perfect for this type of weather because it is not very heavy, more of a fall/spring garment than an actual winter coat.
