Wearing a black and brown ensemble, this has become my favorite color combination lately. I am wearing this coat almost every day with this terribly cold weather we are having, but it find to be one of those items that can easily go from classic and timeless to too much, it depends on the rest of your garments. Therefore when matching it I try to pick monochrome combinations, at least most of the time. Of course nothing is a sleek as an all black combo, so thats what I went for today.

Hoy llevo un conjunto negro y marrón, una combinación de colores que rápidamente se ha transformado en mi favorita. Llevo este abrigo casi cada día, ya que con este tiempo es el único que me mantiene calentita todo el tiempo. Ahora bien, me parece bastante complejo el combinarlo ya que es de esas prendas que puede pasar de simple y refinado a barroca y estridente en poco tiempo. Para evitar este último caso intento combinarlo la mayoría de las veces con un conjunto monocromático debajo. Y si de un solo color hablamos, no hay discusión que el mas sobrio y sofisticado es el negro por lo cual hoy me he decido por él.

Wearing an all black outfit in slippers with socks to fight the cold. This is the first time wearing this coat in this way, I usually always wear it open and sometimes closed but belted, never though this way. I was pleasantly surprised to find a new way of wearing this coat, because at least for me it completely changes it’s shape and look.

Hoy llevo un conjunto todo negro con slippers con calcetÍn para combatir el frío. También llevo mi abrigo Manuela de una forma distinta (me encanta que este abrigo pueda usarse de tres formas distintas). Normalmente lo llevo abierto o cerrado con su cinturón, pero esta vez lo he cerrado por el botón y la silueta es en forma de A, mas estructurado y rígido. Poder alternar la forma de una misma prenda es algo clave en una buena compra y este abrigo cumple a la perfección con esta cualidad.

Today I am wearing a very warm and cozy outfit because the weather is so cold and windy. My color palette today is white, gray and black, a combination that I love, especially when white is in the jeans. There is something about white pants in winter that blows my mind, must be the unexpected in it.

Conjunto muy abrigado para un día de frío y muchísimo viento. Mi paleta de color de hoy es blanco, gris y negro, una combinación que me encanta, mas aún cuando el blanco esta en los vaqueros. Hay algo de llevar pantalones blancos en invierno que me llama mucho la atención, hoy debido al frío tuve que optar por combinarlos con botines y calcetines.

Wearing a navy and black combination, with a mix of textures: wool sweater, leather bag, silk pants, velvet shoes. The weather is still coat optional so I avoid wearing one, until it gets colder. I hope we get to enjoy this lovely weather until the end of the month, this mild fall is becoming quite pleasant.

Como el tiempo aun lo permite he prescindido de abrigo, intento evitar sobre abrigarme para no quedarme sin capas que añadir cuando las temperaturas bajen. Espero que podamos seguir disfrutando de este buen tiempo lo que queda de mes, se esta haciendo muy agradable este otoño.
