It’s been a super hot couple of days, so I ditched long sleeves for good. I am wearing a white sleeveless top, a few years old and my charcoal skinny jeans with some slippers. Because of the heat level I should probably be wearing shorts, but I am not a friend of shorts lately, or mini skirts/dresses so I am just sticking to jeans. I also have a strange feeling of wearing beachwear in the city, feels off for me, even though it shouldn’t, maybe I am too classic, I don’t know, maybe I should start thinking about bermudas or just suit type of shorts to slowly transition into summer.

Llevamos un par de días de calor insoportable así que ya he renunciado definitivamente a las prendas superiores de manga larga y me he entregado por completo al modo verano. Llevo un top blanco sin mangas con vaqueros gris oscuro pitillos y unas slippers. Debido al nivel del calor sería mas adecuado llevar shorts, pero por alguna extraña razón se me hace extraño llevar prendas de playa en la ciudad, sera que soy muy clásica, no lo sé, quizá debería dar con un termino medio y hacerme con unos bermudas, o pantalones cortos estilo traje, me parece una opción mas sensata para combatir el calor en la ciudad sin parecer que estoy de vacaciones.

Today is a super sunny, hot day and I’m wearing my favorite white shirt (not like I have too many white shirts, I only have two, but this one I adore!) and a pair of skinny jeans. I combined these with my satin slippers that are so comfortable but a little more fancy than the other pairs that I own. As you can tell I love slippers, and these pair specially, because they are somewhat different than you usual pair.

Hoy es un día de mucho sol y mucho calor y como no, llevo mi camisa blanca favorita (no es que tenga muchas camisas blancas, pero esta es mi favorita de las dos) con un par de vaqueros pitillo. Este conjunto lo he combinado con mis slippers de satén negro que son muy cómodas, sin duda lo que mas me gusta de ellas, es que son un tanto diferentes a la mayoría y dan un toque de elegancia inesperado en un conjunto compuesto por básicos intemporales.

Wearing and all black spring outfit. Usually all my tops are wide and oversized, this however is a totally different silhouette. I wore this top all winter underneath my sweaters but now it is definitely time to wear it on it’s own. I paired it with my new Khaite jeans (this is the Kassandra style) which I find suits me better than the Vanessa style which in my opinion is meant for tall and generally big girls, while this style is meant for more average, slimmer body types. At least this has been my experience, maybe if I try more of each I will change my mind but at the moment this is my impression. Paired it all with my favorite slippers and my old but still amazing Lulu bag.

Un conjunto primaveral completamente negro. Por lo general todos mis tops/camisas/camisetas son anchas y oversize, pero hoy llevo un top con una silueta completamente diferente. En invierno lo usé mil veces, debajo de mis jerseys pero ahora que el tiempo acompaña lo llevo por si solo. Lo he combinado con mis nuevos vaqueros de Khaite (el modelo Kassandra) que a mi parecer me sienta mejor que el modelo Vanessa que en mi opinión esta pensado para una mujer mas alta y ancha, sin embargo el Kassandra favorece mas a una mujer promedio. Quizá solo es mi primera impresión y cambie con el tiempo pero de momento este sería mi feedback. Llevo mis zapatos favoritos y un bolso un tanto mas antiguo pero que sigo adorando el Lulu de Saint Laurent.

Rainy day in Marbella. I wasn’t prepared for the rain outfit wise, even though I knew it would rain, but I am so fed up with winter that boots was not an option. At the end, the rain stopped and as you can see it was a little wet, but not as much as to go full on winter mode.

Día de lluvia en Marbella. Nunca me había tocado ver llover en esta ciudad, y la verdad no estaba muy preparada, aunque sabía que llovería estoy tan harta del invierno que llevar botines o calzado cerrado no era una opción. Finalmente dejó de llover y pudimos salir de paseo y ya no sentí que me hiciera falta mas prendas de abrigo.
