Another all black outfit with silver accents. This time I’m wearing heels for a change. I’ve had them for a long time but actually only worn them a few times, and I think it is the first time I am wearing them on an outfit I show on the blog.
As you see we are having great weather here in Madrid, so really it’s not coat weather anymore, or at least for a while…we will see.

Otro conjunto negro, pero esta vez con toques plateados. Llevo tacones que no es lo usual en mi, la verdad son bastante antiguos y aunque solo los he usado unas cuantas veces, me gustan mucho, son mas difíciles de llevar que unos en negro completo pero no por eso menos atractivos.
Como podeis ver, se suspende el tema abrigo por un tiempo mientras en Madrid gozamos de buen tiempo. Esta claro que mucho no durará, pero mientras lo hace, mas vale aprovecharlo.

Cold winter weather does not mean boring clothes and today I felt like playing with proportions. The weather is cold yes, really cold compared to being in summer a few weeks ago, but not as cold as the rest of Europe, so fortunately going out like this was no trouble at all.
Today I am wearing my new Isabel Marant “Dixon” skirt I got on the sales early January but could not get myself to wear it since it was shipped to my home in Spain. After waiting for over a month I was finally able to wear it, and man was I happy! I had dreamed with this skirt ever since I saw it HERE (third picture). Yes, it’s the same skirt from the add of course it longer on me than on the model but I kind of like it better that way. It is super comfy and a classic versatile piece to wear forever. I love how it makes a perfect figure, this type of skirt is fantastic because it suits every woman no matter her figure (if worn right). The only but would be I have to pull it up a little bit to walk normally, otherwise it becomes a “geisha skirt” as my boyfriend labeled it.
Besides my new skirt, i’m also wearing my new The Row sunnies and my old The Kooples parka for the first time in the blog. I don’t know why I had never really posted and outfit wearing it, I guess I don’t really wear it that often i’m more into coats. Anyhow it is a life saver for really cold days.

Que haga un frio horrible no significa que debamos usar ropa aburrida, puede ser clásica, sobria y divertida a la vez. Hoy decidí jugar un poco con las proporciones. Es cierto que el frio es mucho comparado con el clima cálido en el que me encontraba hace unas semanas pero a la vez no es tan frío como en otras partes de Europa así que en Madrid tenemos suerte de poder prescindir de ciertas prendas (como medias en este caso).
Hoy llevo mi nueva falda midi de Isabel Marant, el modelo “Dixon” la compre en rebajas por internet y fue enviada a Madrid así que hace unas semanas que finalmente pude usarla. Llevaba deseándola desde que la vi AQUI (tercera foto). Sí es la misma falda que lleva la modelo y sí me esta más larga obviamente pero aun así me gusta más. Es super cómoda, el diseño es clásico y versátil lo único es que tengo que subirla un poco para caminar pero no es un problema debido a su material.
También llevo mis gafas nuevas The Row y mi parka de hace unos años. Es la única que tengo y es primera vez que actualizo fotos con ella pero la verdad es que no la uso mucho, no es mi prenda favorita ya que sin duda prefiero los abrigos, pero para los días mas fríos de invierno es indispensable y también para un conjunto más casual.

Right out of the box I’m wearing my gorgeous new ladies before the cold and rain come. I can’t believe we are still having this perfect weather and it’s almost November.
Today I did made the outfit to match my shoes as opposed to what I usually do, and that is having the shoes compliment the outfit, being the last touch. I think this type of multi colored shoe will mostly work better like this since it is the “star” of the outfit and definitely more complicated to wear than solid color shoes.

Recién salidos de su caja hoy llevo mis nuevas bailarinas de tweed antes de que llegue el frío (y la lluvia) y no pueda usarlas. No puedo creer que seguimos con este tiempo tan estupendo y ya casi es Noviembre.
Hoy creé mi junto a partir de los zapatos lo que no es lo usual en mi, suelo siempre hacerlo al revés es decir creo un conjunto y al final elijo los zapatos. Este tipo de zapatos multi-color tienen ese pequeño inconveniente, como son mas intensos que el calzado usual tienden a protagonizar un conjunto lo que los hace un tanto mas complicados de conjuntar que un zapato de un color sólido.

Such beautiful days we’ve been having it feels like late spring, so of course I wont get into my fall gear just yet. I was going to, but all of a sudden we have this mild weather and we must enjoy it while it lasts.
If you look well in this outfit you will see I am wearing something new. Do you know what it is? …It’s my sunnies! Finally I got to wear my Celine sunglasses for the first time. As you know I got them just over a month ago and while I love them to death I am very sober with colors and careful with prints so I had not yet worn them. Tortoiseshell sunglasses are beautiful but at times they can feel like too much if not matched properly. I love how they look combined with grey and military green so of course this outfit was perfect for them!

Estamos teniendo unos días de calor primaveral en Madrid así que por supuesto que no voy a comenzar con las prendas de abrigo aún! La verdad estaba motivada con el frío pero entonces llegó este tiempo y por supuesto debo aprovecharlo mientras dure.
Si ponéis especial atención a este conjunto veréis que llevo algo nuevo. Sabéis lo que es? …Son mis gafas! Finalmente he podido estrenar mis gafas de Celine que compré el mes pasado. La verdad me encanta pero como soy extremadamente sobria con los colores y cuidadosa con los estampados aún no había encontrado oportunidad de estrenarlas, no me gusta mal combinar las cosas y estropear un conjunto estupendo por culpa de un detalle como las gafas. (También soy extremadamente detallista!). Las gafas de carey son preciosas pero a veces pueden ser un poco estridentes según lo que se lleve. Me encantan como quedan combinadas con gris y verde militar así que este conjunto es sin duda perfecto para ellas!
