So of course the first collection of the season i’ll be sharing with you is my always favorite The Row. Every season I love this brand more and more for obvious reasons. Models are always, always on flats; comfort over anything, that is a plus 100 in my book, the choice of colors is always right; less is more, and the cut, well I love how they feature a longer silhouette, and relaxed fit, it’s like the message behind the brand is the more natural the more fabulous you will be. And I agree with that.

Por supuesto que la primera colección que voy a compartir es una de mi top, siempre: The Row. Cada temporada me enamoro mas de la firma por razones obvias. Las modelos SIEMPRE y digo SIEMPRE van en planos, el mensaje? Comodidad ante todo, eso para mi es un importante valor que intentan promover a las mujeres. Luego la paleta de colores es siempre perfecta, otro mensaje: menos es más. Y que hablar de los cortes, me encanta la silueta mas larga y relajada que temporada tras temporada nos llevan mostrando, es como si el mensaje de la marca fuese: lo mas natural que estés, lo más fabulosa que serás, y sinceramente no podría estar mas de acuerdo.

One of the few brands that keeps an impecable line, straight continuity and always brings something new to the table that brands end up emulating years after. So far, to me almost every brand portraying this silhouette reminds me of The Row. It’s almost as if the Olsen twins started this whole minimal trend, with their line as a channel and have made their style so iconic that no matter how any brands try to incorporate it in their aesthetic it screams The Row.

Una de mis favoritas: The Row

Es una de las pocas firmas que mantiene una continuidad impecable y siempre esta pasos por delante. Mas que pasos yo diría años luz, normal que con varios años de retraso muchas firmas acaben por copiar casi por completo sus colecciones. De hecho para mi casi cualquier firma que incluye esta silueta me evoca a The Row. Es casi como si las gemelas Olsen fuesen responsables de la tendencia minimalista con su marca como canal de expansión. Han hecho de su estilo un sello tan icónico que aunque mas y mas marcas sigan incorporando esta estética e intentando patentarla como sello propio no habrá duda de donde proviene realmente la originalidad.
