Pictures from yesterday at a small town in Segovia, in between places. The temperature was terrible there, so cold I had to wear my thickest coat, yet again. I wore it with a wool mini skirt, turtleneck and suede boots. I can’t believe we are ending this month with no hint of spring, crossing my fingers for a nice and warm month of April!

Ayer en un pequeño pueblo de Segovia. Dejábamos la finca para volver a Madrid después de un fin de semana en el campo. El frío fue intenso todo el fin de semana, con lluvia y nieve por lo que me abrigué lo mas que pude. Podéis ver que llevo una vez mas mi abrigo mas grueso y calentito sobre un conjunto de falda de lana midi, cuello vuelto y botas altas. Vaya faena esto de seguir con temperaturas invernales, espero que este próximo mes de Abril sea mas cálido y nos de la sensación de primavera que añoramos!

Wearing a black and brown ensemble, this has become my favorite color combination lately. I am wearing this coat almost every day with this terribly cold weather we are having, but it find to be one of those items that can easily go from classic and timeless to too much, it depends on the rest of your garments. Therefore when matching it I try to pick monochrome combinations, at least most of the time. Of course nothing is a sleek as an all black combo, so thats what I went for today.

Hoy llevo un conjunto negro y marrón, una combinación de colores que rápidamente se ha transformado en mi favorita. Llevo este abrigo casi cada día, ya que con este tiempo es el único que me mantiene calentita todo el tiempo. Ahora bien, me parece bastante complejo el combinarlo ya que es de esas prendas que puede pasar de simple y refinado a barroca y estridente en poco tiempo. Para evitar este último caso intento combinarlo la mayoría de las veces con un conjunto monocromático debajo. Y si de un solo color hablamos, no hay discusión que el mas sobrio y sofisticado es el negro por lo cual hoy me he decido por él.

Super cold and windy today, therefor I am wearing my warmest coat. I was feeling a cream/earthy color palette so I went for white, brown and beige. As of lately I find myself gravitating more towards this colors, it goes as far as to find myself walking through a street that matches my ensemble! I just had to stop and place myself here for today’s pictures.

Para combatir el frío y viento de hoy llevo mi abrigo mas grueso y calentito, el que ha inspirado la paleta de colores que llevo. Últimamente tiendo a escoger colores en tonos tierra y ha llegado a tanto mi pasión por ellos, que hasta los busco en mi entorno. Podéis ver que hoy es un claro ejemplo, ya que al pasar por esta calle me decidí a mostraros este conjunto en su contexto mas puro, una pared en tonos beige.
