My favorite always, always is Margaret Howell. At first this season the first few looks I was thinking hmmm…I don’t know, until I reached to the middle, and I fell in love! Yes, yes! Midi skirts, socks with shoes, school girl vibes, patent, tons of navy, of course I love it! I am specially happy to see the patent footwear this season and the bermudas! I totally see myself wearing all her clothes, but of course that ends up being impossible, hopefully thought something will end up in my closet.
So of course the first collection of the season i’ll be sharing with you is my always favorite The Row. Every season I love this brand more and more for obvious reasons. Models are always, always on flats; comfort over anything, that is a plus 100 in my book, the choice of colors is always right; less is more, and the cut, well I love how they feature a longer silhouette, and relaxed fit, it’s like the message behind the brand is the more natural the more fabulous you will be. And I agree with that.

Por supuesto que la primera colección que voy a compartir es una de mi top, siempre: The Row. Cada temporada me enamoro mas de la firma por razones obvias. Las modelos SIEMPRE y digo SIEMPRE van en planos, el mensaje? Comodidad ante todo, eso para mi es un importante valor que intentan promover a las mujeres. Luego la paleta de colores es siempre perfecta, otro mensaje: menos es más. Y que hablar de los cortes, me encanta la silueta mas larga y relajada que temporada tras temporada nos llevan mostrando, es como si el mensaje de la marca fuese: lo mas natural que estés, lo más fabulosa que serás, y sinceramente no podría estar mas de acuerdo.
Instead of showing the actual runway looks, today I decided to focus on the details. As much as I love Chanel, I am not very fond of the styling, it is very anti-Coco really, too much, always. Almost all the garments are exquisite but I think the appreciation of them gets lost with all the fuzz going on with the added elements, and sometimes even the background. And that is the case in this collection as well. Now of course what do I expect? It’s couture. But still I can find what’s classic and beautiful in it, and that is shown in these pictures, the close up, the details.

En vez de mostrar los conjuntos en la pasarela esta vez he decidido centrarme en los detalles. Por mucho que adoro Chanel, no soy muy fan de los estilismos en los defiles, es muy anti-Coco la verdad, muy recargado, siempre. Aunque casi todas las prendas son una maravilla, no pueden ser apreciadas adecuadamente con toda la fiesta de excesos distrayendo, y no voy a entrar en detalles sobre los fondos. Es el caso en casi todas las colecciones, creo que podrían salvarse unas cuantas.
Ahora por supuesto no se que esperaba, es couture. Pero aún así se pueden encontrar imágenes que reflejan elementos clásicos y todo aquello esta en los detalles.
Today, we are having some bag education. I wanted to do the best bags for 2015, but then I remembered, how at least for me, they are the same as 2014…and 2013…and even 2012. With a few exceptions I am always lusting for the same bags, so that would be useless. Instead I decided to inspire myself on this bag index I saw on Pinterest that is very similar to the one you see here (sorry for whoever was that did the original index, you are amazing!) but this one is well, more…complete. I felt for proper bag education it is of crucial importance to separate the classic bags, from the discontinued ones, and the new “it” bags (which im not very fond of).
So here we go, a complete guide to Céline bags, style name and date of release for the classics (I am almost sure I got the dates right, but if I didn’t please correct me by comment or email).

Hoy, os voy a dar clases de bolsos. En un comienzo mi intención era hacer una compilación de los mejores bolsos para el 2015 pero entonces caí en la cuenta que para mi, son los mismos que el 2014, el 2013…y el 2012. Con excepción de algunos nuevos, en general sigo queriendo los mismos que entonces, con lo cual no tiene sentido hablaros de eso. En cambio decidí inspirarme en un pin que llamo mi atención en Pinterest. Seguro que much@s de vosotros ya lo habréis visto. Es casi igual a este que he hecho hoy, pero con una descripción divertida sobre cada bolso, pero menos completo. Al verlo me pareció tan buena la idea, pero sinceramente había que pulirla, ya que en mi opinión si vamos a dar información, vamos a darla bien. Lo que hice fue añadir mas bolsos y dividirlos por categorías, clásicos y discontinuados.
Aquí vamos, os presento mi guía completa de bolsos de Céline, con nombre del modelo y año de nacimiento en caso de los clásicos. (Estoy casi segura que tengo todas las fechas bien, pero de no ser así os pido vuestra corrección, ya sea por email o comentario).
Doing this section was terrible. Have you heard the phrase “nothing haunts us as the things we did not buy” ? Well this is just the case! While I was doing it, I was like…damn! I should have bought this bag when I had the chance.
Luckily for us in this situation (I assume I am not alone here) there are so many pre-owned online shopping sites, that we get a second chance. I must confess I am a little scared of buying pre-owned bags, but I will definitely give it a try sometime soon.

Hacer esta sección fue horrible. No sé si habéis escuchado la frase “nada nos atormenta como lo que no compramos”? Pues bien, este sería el caso! Mientras lo hacía no paraba de pensar, en lo tonta que fui de no comprar algunos de estos bolsos en su momento, ya que ahora no están disponibles.
Por suerte, existen las tiendas online de segunda mano en las que buscando podría encontrar algunos de estos bolsos. El problema es que no me acabo de fiar del todo, pero conozco muchísima gente que ha tenido experiencias positivas así que quizás mas adelante me aventure a probar.
Ahora os dejo, con los bolsos tristemente discontinuados de Céline.

Acabo de añadir esta sección…porqué no? Los nuevos modelos de Céline. Hay futuros clásicos? No lo sabremos aún, pero mi instinto me dice que es probable que las dos primeras vayan por ese camino. Cual es vuestra opinion?
As you can see, if there is something I know about, it’s bags! It’s terrible to think how much I know about this subject and how little I know about other things, but I truly believe interest in something can’t be forced.

Como veis, si algo se es de bolsos. Es terrible pensar la cantidad de información que se sobre este tema y la poca que sé sobre otras. Pero que se le va a hacer, el interés en algo no se puede forzar.
Ahora os pido que me digáis sobre que firma os gustaría que hiciera esto mismo la semana que viene…hay bastantes en las que me manejo, así que espero vuestros comentarios.
