New coat! Really needed this second coat because I decided to part ways and sell my Isabel Marant Helias, which left me with only one coat. Now as minimalist as you can be, no one can live with only one coat! Winter is long, early spring is rainy and eventually after summer another fall will come, so investing on one last coat this season seemed like a smart move! I had several options but ended up going with this one by MaxMara that is actually from the runway collection. I originally had another outfit planned but the day was so grey and rainy that I had to go for my Céline boots once again. Underneath is an all black outfit with turtleneck and wide trousers.

Hoy estreno abrigo nuevo! Necesitaba urgentemente un segundo abrigo, ya que decidí vender el que fué mi segundo abrigo y esto me deja con solo un abrigo! Por muy minimalista que sea, nadie puede vivir con solo un abrigo! El invierno es largo, el comienzo de la primavera muy lluvioso, y después del verano otro otoño nos espera con lo cual invertir en un segundo abrigo me ha parecido lo mas sensato. Tuve unos cuantos en mente pero me decidí por este gris de MaxMara. Como el día fue gris y lluvioso tuve que hacer un pequeño cambio en mi conjunto original y volver a llevar mis botines Bam Bam. Debajo del abrigo podéis ver que llevo un jersey de cuello vuelto y pantalones anchos negros.

These last few days have been grey and rainy. I have gone back to wearing a coat with turtleneck underneath. I’m not much of a scarf person so I try to wear turtlenecks in winter. I wore my classic jeans and my Céline Bam Bams, I really don’t know what I would do withouth them!

Today is terribly grey and windy in Madrid, these pictures are from last Saturday. We went to spend the weekend at the countryside where it was so much colder than here so it was funny to test how an hour south can make a place be 6 degrees colder. Here im not wearing a coat and I’m still perfectly warm underneath. Different types of winter one so close to the other.
As you can see I’m wearing a new pair of sunglasses, you might recognize them from all the outfit inspiration posts I’ve been doing for the past couple of years I always feature them and of course was dying to get them, and then winter sale happened and sunglasses went on sale and the rest is history! Just a tip, buy your sunglasses in winter!

Hoy es un día terriblemente gris en Madrid, estas fotos son de hace dos días. Este sábado nos fuimos a pasar el fin de semana al campo y el cambio climático que vivimos fue alucinante. A solo una hora de Madrid hacían unos seis grados menos, cielo gris y lluvia, mientras en la capital sol y una temperatura bastante llevadera para ser invierno. Distintos tipos de invierno sin duda, tan cerca el uno del otro.
Como podéis ver llevo gafas nuevas, os pueden sonar de todos los post de inspiración que llevo haciendo desde hace unos años, son las gafas que repito una y otra vez, que siempre había querido comprar y nunca tuve la oportunidad, hasta ahora que mágicamente las han rebajado, conclusión: comprar gafas en invierno!

It’s getting colder, so this outfit is all about staying warm and cozy. I chose my MaxMara coat which is the thickest of the two I own, my Balenciaga turtleneck which is by far the best, coziest knitwear in my closet, and my Acne Studios jeans that are one size too large, but when worn without a belt they cover my ankles, and of course to finish this cold weather outfit my Céline Bam Bam ankle boots.

Han bajado las temperaturas, así que este conjunto esta pensado para combatir el frío. He escogido mi abrigo mas calentito (entre dos no es muy difícil escoger), mi jersey de cuello vuelto de Balenciaga que es sin dudarlo el que mas abriga de todo mi armario, y mis vaqueros de Acne Studios que me están grandes pero si los llevo sin cinturón me cubren los tobillos y para terminar, mis botines Bam Bam de Céline.
