This collection tops my favorites list from NYFW. As you may have observed already from last pre fall, then fall collections, and then resort, minimalism, the less is more has now become a trend. Designers and people who never made this their moto, are now creating/wearing minimalistic clothes. Of course it’s very different done as a trend and done in true identity of oneself, and that is what The Row keeps doing collection after collection showing that no matter the trends, this is their identity, and this is how they will keep being, and that is why I love the brand, and the Olsen twins so much, because it goes beyond fashion they prove it to be a permanent theme.

Esta colección encabeza mi lista de favoritas de NYFW. Como habréis observado en las colecciones de pre fall, luego en las de otoño invierno y posteriormente en las de resort el estilo minimalista, el mas es menos ahora es tendencia. Diseñadores y personas que jamás hicieron honor a este lema, ahora hacen o llevan ropas de este estilo. Por supuesto es muy distinto cuando se lleva como tendencia o cuando realmente forma parte de la identidad uno. The Row afirma y vuelve a confirmar colección tras colección, que pese a las tendencias, esta es su identidad, y siempre seguirán su linea. Por ello me encanta The Row y me encantan las gemelas Olsen, porque su estilo es mas que moda y tendencias es una lema permanente.
Today’s outfit is all shades of blue. We have light blue on my shirt, classic denim blue on my skirt and navy blue on my bag. Since blue is my favorite color, I have a nice collection of blue garments in almost all shades available so it’s only natural for me that I end up wearing them all together. Today my outfit is more on the lighter side, but I definitely do all blue outfits in an overall darker shade.
Since its summer and it’s so hot, I paired my outfit with my old, very worn but much loved white Superga, they are my “summer sneakers” I take them to the beach, wear them on the city, on the countryside, everywhere I go I end up taking them with me. Unfortunately they are not the best option for winter, so I need to find myself a pair for colder days.

Hoy llevo varios tonos de azul. Tenemos un azul muy claro en mi camisa, el clásico azul vaquero en mi falda y azul navy en mi bolso. Ya que el azul es mi color favorito tengo una buena colección de prendas en este color en casi toda la gama que este color permite así que es bastante lógico que acabase combinándolos entre si. Hoy mi conjunto esta mas inclinado a tonos azul claro pero usualmente voy mas por el lado oscuro de este color.
Al ser verano y por el calor he combinado el conjunto azul con mis Superga que la verdad están bastante viejas e usadas pero es que me encantan y son ideales para los meses de calor. Al ser tan versátiles se pueden llevar a la playa, al campo, y por supuesto usarlas en la ciudad y en cualquier ocasión van perfectamente. Desafortunadamente al ser de tela un tanto delgada no son la mejor opción para el invierno, por lo que tendré que buscarme unas sustitutas para los meses fríos.

Today let me introduce to you one of my favorite stores in my city, Madrid: Isabel Marant. This is the only place in Madrid where you can purchase the brand. It is located in callejón Jorge Juan, a walking street at calle Jorge Juan.
I love that out of all the few cities (besides the obvious like NYC, Paris or Tokyo) that actually have a Isabel Marant store, we are among them. The store is small and has two levels, one for Etoile line an another for the main line which makes the shopping experience so easy and simple. The store is beautiful on the inside as I imagine all of Marant stores must be. I have not visited them all so I can’t say exactly, but it follows the minimalistic rustic wooden aesthetic. The staff are super nice and friendly but the only down part is the stock, we don’t get much, so sometimes I return empty handed and end up shopping online, but besides that it is a ten in everything, so if you are in Madrid and you love IM, you must go!
I give it a 9/10
Isabel Marant Store Madrid: Callejón Jorge Juan 12

Hoy os presento una de mis tiendas favoritas en Madrid: Isabel Marant. Este es el único sitio en Madrid donde se puede comprar la firma. Esta ubicada en el callejón Jorge Juan la pequeña calle peatonal de la calle Jorge Juan.
Me encanta el hecho que seamos de las pocas ciudades (sin contar las obvias como NYC, Paris o Tokyo) que contamos con tienda propia de la marca. La tienda es pequeña y esta divida en dos niveles la planta baja para la primera linea y la primera planta para la segunda linea Etoile lo que hace el comprar allí bastante fácil. Por dentro esta muy cuidada siguiendo la estética rústica minimalista clásica de todas las tiendas de Isabel Marant, o bueno no sé si de absolutamente todas, solo he estado en algunas. El personal de la tienda es super amable y en general todo sobre esta tienda esta genial exceptuando el tema del stock, me imagino que porque aquí no se vende mucho, el tema es que no suelen tener mucha parte de la colección así que muchas veces vuelvo a casa con las manos vacías y acabo comprando por internet. Por lo demás os la recomiendo!
