SUMMER 2017: OUTFIT 9
As you know, up north summer is really unstable, sometimes days resemble spring with a lot of rain and clouded skies. This day was just like that, it was clouded with some rain so all my summer clothes stayed in the suitcase and I had to pull some of my in between weather garments. Of course every time we come I am prepared for any weather, and it was not a problem to find the appropriate clothes. I decided to go with a midi skirt, with a silk shirt and some slippers.

Como sabéis el verano del norte es muy distinto a el de Madrid y se caracteriza por su inestabilidad. Hay días que parecen mas primavera que otra cosa, con largas lluvias y cielos cubiertos, pues bien este día fue así. Como se que esto puede pasar siempre voy preparada con ropa de entretiempo y no tuve problemas en encontrar el conjunto adecuado. En este caso me decidí por una falda midi con camisa militar de seda y slippers.

SUMMER 2017: OUTFIT 8
We spent the weekend in Cantabria in San Vicente de la Barquera where the scenery is a mix of rural farms, beaches and medieval. I wanted to show a little bit of each in my pictures so today the pictures have that rural, countryside spirit. I am wearing a very old LBD I have owned for years. My mom gave it to me as a gift and I have worn it every summer since. It is a very easy to wear cotton dress, perfect for any occasion, can perfectly transition from day (beachwear) to night (to go out). On this particular day we were on our way to go out for dinner, therefore I wore a bit on the fancy side.

Pasamos el fin de semana en Cantabria en San Vicente de la Barquera, nos encanta entre otras cosas por la mezcla de paisajes que podemos encontrar. Es una mezcla entre campestre rural, playero y medieval. Quise plasmar el espíritu del lugar con unas fotos hechas en la zona de campo que contrasta con mi conjunto ya que íbamos de camino a cenar fuera. Llevo un vestido que tengo hace años, un regalo de mi madre y la verdad desde que me lo obsequió lo uso cada verano un montón. Es un básico muy fácil de combinar, perfecto para cualquier ocasión. Puede valer para el día, por ejemplo para la playa o para la noche como es el caso de hoy.
