We’ve been having super hot spring days lately, and though some people are already out in shorts and sandals, I am still enjoying my in between weather gear. I am wearing a classic black and white ensemble with Chanel accessories.

Transitioning into spring has always be done changing your winter coat for a trench. This type of in between weather outerwear has always and will always be in style, so you can never go wrong. There are numerous styles, cuts and colors to choose from but as you know I prefer the timeless style. I am wearing the classic Burberry trench coat that I’ve had for years, but this year I am definitely adding a new one to my coat collection, most likely in a different silhouette.

La forma mas común y lógica de hacer la transición a la primavera es cambiar nuestro abrigo invernal a una trenca. Este tipo de abrigo es mucho mas ligero y es un estilo que siempre ha existido y siempre seguirá existiendo, es un acierto seguro. Hay mil tipos de estilos, cortes y colores, yo prefiero los mas clásicos y atemporales. En este caso llevo el modelo estándar de Burberry que tengo hace años, pero este año estoy decidida a añadir uno mas a mi colección de abrigos, en una silueta distinta, para un look diferente.

A great way to transition from winter to spring when you really want to wear your slippers but it’s still to cold to wear them barefoot is to wear them with socks. Now in my opinion some socks can be a little tacky, but wearing sheer tight socks has the opposite effect. I find them quite elegant and perfect for in between weather. I paired my everyday jeans with an everyday sweater and just let the shoes give that fancy but austere touch that makes a difference.

Una forma estupenda de pasar de invierno a primavera y usar slippers que tanto nos puede apetecer aun que haya días que el tiempo no acompañe, es usarlos con calcetines. Ahora bien no cualquier calcetín resalta este tipo de calzado de una forma elegante, para mi el estilo de calcetín ideal es el de media transparente en negro. Me encanta como combina con prácticamente todo, y en este caso da un efecto sutil y nada exagerado a un par de zapatos que ya de por si es bastante llamativo. Llevo mis vaqueros y jersey del día a día, algo básico y cómodo, el calzado da el toque singular.

Back in Madrid the weather is hot. Not extremely hot, but mild, so you can wear basically anything. Nothing says spring to me like a good white shirt and a midi skirt. So of course I take the first chance I get to wear my favorite timeless skirt. I decided to combine it with my favorite white shirt, and new favorite shoes. Since the shoes have enough bling I went for a low key everyday black bag.

De vuelta en Madrid ya hace calor. No mucho pero si lo suficiente para poder decir que la primavera ha llegado definitivamente. Esto significa que ya no tenemos que limitarnos a las prendas abrigadas y podemos llevar un poco de todo. Para mi nada es mas sinónimo de entretiempo que una camisa blanca y una falda midi, así que he decidido combinar las dos, son de mis prendas favoritas y me encanta lo versátiles que son. El tiempo es también perfecto para estrenar mis slippers que compré en Londres, pero como son lo suficientemente llamativas las acompaño de mi bolso mas austero y cómodo ideal para el día a día.
