Today’s store belongs to one of my favorite fashion brands: Margaret Howell. It is located also in one of my favorite cities: Paris. So it is of course one of my favorite places.
This is the only MHL store I’ve ever been too, I am dying to go to Tokyo and visit the amazing store they have there, but this one is pretty fabulous on its own. It is of a great size, not too big, not small. It is located in a small patio as you can see on the picture so it was really hard to find. Besides the fact that is a bit hidden, the location is fabulous in Place de la Madeleine, very close to some other favorites of mine (A.P.C). It is a one level store, minimal decoration and fabulous stock, they had everything of everything so that is a big yes. Besides that I don’t know what to say, only one S.A but very helpful.
Overall besides the hidden location the store is perfect, one of my favorites, and of course the best part it is not crowded, so you feel one and only, something we all love.
I give it a 9.5/10 just because it is hard to find if you go there for the first time.

La tienda que os enseño hoy pertenece a una de mis firmas de moda favoritas: Margaret Howell. Esta ubicada en una de mis ciudades favoritas: Paris. Sumando estos dos factores se podría decir que es uno de mis sitios favoritos.
Esta es la única tienda de la firma en la que he estado, me muero de ganas de visitar la mega tienda/café que tienen en Tokio pero aún que no sea comparable la de Paris es de hecho estupenda. No es excesivamente grande ni tampoco es pequeña, tiene el tamaño perfecto. Esta ubicada en una especie de patio de un edificio lo que hace muy difícil dar con ella por primera vez. Sin contar este detalle, la ubicación es estupenda, en la plaza de la Madeleine, cerca de muchas otras tiendas estupendas. Es una tienda de un solo nivel y el interior esta decorado de lo más minimalista y el stock que tienen es estupendo, todo de todo. Solo añadir que se estaba de maravilla no había casi gente y aunque solo había una dependienta, no había que esperar para ser atendido, fue muy agradable.
Solo por el hecho de estar escondida le doy un 9.5/10
I don’t think I need to explain how much in love I am with this collection. It is all I could dream of and more. The color palette: perfect. The prints: subtle. The cuts: comfortable. Footwear: timeless. There is not much more to say, this collection actually works for a day to day real winter situation and it definitely shows a confident woman that does not need loud colors and high heels to look beautiful.

No creo que necesite explicar el nivel de adoración que siento por esta colección. Es todo lo que podría soñar y mas. La paleta de colores: perfecta. Los estampados: sutiles. Los cortes: cómodos. El calzado: atemporal. Solo añadiré que esta colección claramente funciona para el día a día de una situación real de invierno y definitivamente apunta a una mujer segura, sin necesidad de usar colores fuertes o tacones altos, etc.

Of course my favorite collection from London Fashion Week would be Margaret Howell, you know how I am the biggest fan of the brand. This collection however honestly talking I did not love it as much as the few past ones. The whole sailor vibe is missing, it’s just more of a classic minimalism done by almost every other brand in the market and that is a little disappointing. I love minimalism don’t get me wrong less will always be more for me no matter the trends, but since it has become a trend nowadays it should be done in a more personal less uniform like manner. The whole sailor vibe that MH always added in her collections made her stand out from the rest, and now, well let’s face it this collection could be anyones.
I’m sure this is just a phase though and I hope to see for her next collection the old sailor vibes back! On the other hand positive things to add: sunglasses on the runway! Does this mean we can expect a sunglasses collection from Margaret Howell? I would hope so! That gets me really excited and levels the disappointment a bit, to which I must add the whole white footwear black socks thing: not classy, not classic in my opinion, more of a trendy thing! But I still love her though, she still my fave!

Por supuesto que mi colección favorita de London Fashion Week es la de Margaret Howell, ya sabéis que soy la seguidora número uno de la marca. Sin embargo esta colección honestamente no me gustó tanto como las anteriores. Falta lo mas importante, lo que de la identidad a la marca y eso es el toque marinero de todas sus colecciones. Esto parece mas bien minimalista clásico etéreo lo mismo que están haciendo la mayoría de las marcas en el mercado y la verdad me desilusiona bastante. No me mal interpretéis me encanta lo minimalista, para mi menos siempre será mas a pesar de cualquier tendencia ridícula que exista, pero como hoy por hoy desafortunadamente es una tendencia debería hacerse de una forma mucho mas personal. El aire marinero que siempre ha llevado Margaret Howell hacía que destacase por encima de todos y ahora he de admitir que esta colección es una más del montón.
Estoy segura de que solo es una fase, y espero ver de vuelta su identidad en la próxima colección. Por otro lado resaltare lo positivo: gafas. Primera vez que vemos gafas en una de sus colecciones, significa esto que lanzará para primavera su colección de gafas? Me encantaría! Eso la verdad si me anima bastante, lo que nivela la desilusión de esta colección a la que añadiré el tema de los zapatos blancos con calcetines negros. En serio? No tiene nada de clásico y elegante mas bien es trendy. Pese a todo sigue siendo mi favorita!
First time posting an outfit with my relatively new dungarees. At first I was undecided as to if I should keep them, being an oversized model on my petite frame but after thinking and trying them on a few times I decided to. I already have a more fitting (but still big) pair of dungarees and a different version seemed like a fresh change. Plus there always is the comfort factor, they are so lightweight perfect for summer, and I can’t say no to a well made, versatile garment even if it fits a little big (90% of my clothes originally do) and there is always the option to get them altered.

Estreno mi nuevo peto de color marfil de la segunda línea MHL de Margaret Howell. Al comienzo estaba indecisa de si debería quedármelo, siendo un diseño oversize, en mi cuerpo menudo podría verse un tanto extraño, pero después de mucho pensarlo, y probármelo unas cuantas veces, decidí quedármelo. Tengo ya un modelo mas ajustado (aunque también me esta un pelín grande) y una versión un tanto distinta me parece un cambio acertado, además del factor comodidad. La tela es cómoda y fresca ideal para los meses cálidos, y la verdad es que no puedo decirle que no a una prenda bien hecha y versátil aunque me este un poco grande (originalmente el 90% de mi ropa me estaba grande y pude arreglarla sin problemas) y como digo modificar una prenda siempre es una opción.
