On our way to NYE dinner.
I wore a black sweater dress from last year that was my favorite garment when I was pregnant. I remember wearing it at least twice a week in all the possible ways you can imagine! Now this is the first time wearing it after giving birth (I’ve been dying to wear it!) and the reason is it’s not a nursing friendly piece of clothing, something I had not anticipated when pregnant. But since it was NYE and we celebrate at my husband’s parents home I figured I could always find a place to nurse privately, plus Olivia would be mostly asleep so it was a wonderful moment to wear it again!
Olivia is wearing a super cozy navy glitter dress (very NYE) I got while I was pregnant (it’s from last winter collection) and funny thing is same goes for the shoes and tights. I remember every time I would find something I loved not available in newborn size I would size up for next winter and now I have a ton of great clothes (specially dresses) from past collections! I am still doing the same thing, I can’t help myself!

Wearing my oversized grey turtleneck today in a different way. I tucked it inside my jeans and accessorized it with my black and white scarf.
I find this simple changes make a garment look completely different so it’s always a good idea to play a little with alternative ways to wear basics.
Olivia is also wearing her grey dress in a different way, this time with a short white cardigan that makes it seem like two separates but no shoes today. We are trying to get her used to wearing them but we don’t always succeed.
