First time wearing my new saddle shoes that I got in L.A. This shoes have been on my wishlist since 2006…nine years!!! And I was unable to find them. They don’t sell them in Spain or Chile and when I was in L.A in late 2013 I couldn’t find them either. It was just until this year, my trip to California a few months ago that I was lucky enough to find a pair. Why do I love them so much? I don’t really have just one reason, first of all these are the saddle shoes of saddle shoes, every time I think G.H Bass I think of these the Enfield model, and every time I think black and white brogues I think of the Enfield model by G.H Bass. I love the red sole, they are distinctive and of course it helps that they are so comfortable! So here I am as happy as can be with my new shoes, perfect for in between weather and yes, I’ll figure out a way to keep wearing them all through summer and definitely winter as well.
A perfect combination for them? Well thankfully everything in my wardrobe, but when it comes to jeans the ones with the best fit, at least for me are these by Gap.

Estreno mis zapatos blancos y negros que compré hace unos meses en L.A. No os lo vais a creer pero estos zapatos llevan en mi lista de deseos desde el 2006, es decir nueve años!!! Por tanto tiempo no pude encontrarlos. No los venden ni en España, ni en Chile ni en ningún sitio que haya visitado jamás, ni en L.A cuando fui a finales de 2013 los encontré, y hace dos meses por fin los encuentro! No os imaginais mi felicidad! Porque me gustan tanto? Bueno la verdad es que son muchas las razones, para comenzar creo que son los que mejor hacen en cuanto a diseño este tipo de zapatos. Cuando uno pienso en zapatos blancos y negros lo primero que se me viene a la cabeza son estos, el modelo Enfield de G.H Bass y cuando pienso en G.H Bass lo primero que se me viene a la cabeza son sus famosos Enfield. Por otro lado me encanta que la suela sea rojiza, los distingue de los demás zapatos en este estilo y por supuesto la comodidad! Así que así me veis tan contenta con mis nuevos zapatos, perfectos para el entretiempo, aunque claro esta encontraré una forma de incluirnos en mis conjuntos veraniegos e invernales también.
Que mejor que combinarlos con unos vaqueros, los que creo mejor me quedan son estos de Gap, así que ha sido mi primera opción de entre todo mi armario.

Hermes is one of the leading luxury handbags brands out there, and it’s pretty obvious why. They have a huge number of bags all perfectly made with only the highest quality and the designs are all classic, perfect for every type of woman. This of course has translated in success and in a variety of iconic bags, probably more than any other label.
I have gathered some of the classics, and I say some because this is a brand where almost all of the bags are classics, and there are not so much new models, as new colors or new combinations of colors and textures.

Hermes es una de las marcas de accesorios de lujo líderes en el mercado, y es bastante obvio el porque. Tienen una gran cantidad de bolsos, todos perfectamente fabricados con la mas alta calidad. Los diseños son clásicos, perfectos para cualquier tipo de mujer sin importar la edad o los gustos. Esto por supuesto ha sido lo que ha marcado el éxito de la firma con una variedad de icónicos bolsos, probablemente mas que cualquier otra firma.
Me he centrado en alguno de los clásicos y digo alguno ya que esta firma es de las pocas donde casi todos sus bolsos son clásicos, no hay casi bolsos nuevos, lo nuevo esta en los colores, o combinaciones de colores y texturas.
The new Hermes bag were hard to find, I basically added the new models from the past five years, and as you can see there are not many, as in most labels. I quite like the Double Sense Tote but it reminds me of the Céline Cabas and the Etribelt bag which I also like a lot but again it reminds me of a Céline bag, this time the Edge. Have I become too much of a Céline fan, or do you see it too? The weird part is both of them were released after their Céline twins. I think I’ll stop the comparison because both brands are very different from one another, but in my opinion Hermes does do better classics than releasing new bags. What do you think?

Los bolsos nuevos de Hermes no son muchos, así que me concentré en los de los últimos cinco años. Me encanta el Double Sense Tote y el Etribelt, pero siento que se parecen mucho a los bolsos de Céline Cabas y Edge respectivamente. No sé si estaré demasiado obsesionada con bolsos de Céline últimamente o es que de verdad tienen algo pero sin duda es algo a tener en cuenta. En cualquier caso soy de la opinión de que Hermes debería centrarse en seguir añadiendo variedad a los clásicos en vez de sacar bolsos nuevos al mercado. Cual es vuestra opinión nuevos o clásicos?
A good old midi skirt I keep close to my heart is this navy one by COS. It is so simple and so wearable that one could never get tired of it. For spring or fall a good alternative is to wear it with a sweatshirt and some slip-ons for an easy and comfortable outfit. I have worn this skirt with basically anything but this has to be my favorite way or wearing it yet.

Una gran prenda en mi armario es esta falda midi de COS. Es tan simple y tan usable que no podría cansarme de ella jamás. Para primavera y verano es una estupenda alternativa sobre todo combinada con una sudadera y unas zapatillas slip-ons, no se me ocurre un conjunto mas cómodo y fácil de llevar que este. He usado esta falda de mil maneras y creo que esta es mi favorita de momento.
