Still very much sandals weather in Madrid, we are having a rather sunny and hot start of fall, so I am staying in summer mode until this weather is really over. What I am wearing almost every day for the past week, pants, sandals and a t-shirt. Today I went for grey jeans and a black t-shirt, and finally took my Louis Vuitton Alma bag for a day out.

Continuamos con el buen tiempo en Madrid, y yo sigo en modo verano, como no en manga cortas y sandalias. Me niego a hacerme la idea de que estamos en otoño, hasta que realmente llegue el mal tiempo. Creo que hay que aprovechar los últimos días cálidos con los conjuntos veraniegos que luego los echaremos de menos. Llevo lo que estoy usando casi todos estos días; pantalones, camiseta de manga corta y sandalias. Hoy escogí un vaquero gris, con camiseta negra y mi bolso Alma que hace tiempo que no veía la luz del día.

First day of fall, and happily embracing it! After so much heat this summer a little sweater weather is just what we needed. The pictures are from last weekend, we spent at Riaza in Segovia, because my boyfriend is a hunter, and it was last weekend of the season to hunt and it was also the town’s celebration, so why not leave the city behind for a season and do some country life for a few days. Most people would think I’m a city person, which I am but I am also a country girl, because I never experienced a country life until now, and I’m sort of loving it. Having the option to go away for the weekends so close to the city, but with a complete different scenario is the best. Just love it.
So for a day in the actual center of this charming little town I wore flats and an all black outfit. The rest of the days I was pretty much in jeans and sneakers, because thats what you wear in the country to be comfortable.

Primer día de otoño, y comenzando con ganas! Después de tanto calor se agradece el tiempo de jerseys. Las fotos son del fin de semana pasado, que lo pasamos en Riaza, Segovia ta que mi novio es un cazador y era el último fin de semana de la temporada y además coincidió con las fiestas de Riaza así que porque no dejar atrás la ciudad unos días y sumergirse en otro estilo de vida totalmente distinto para desconectar. Quizá os pensáis que soy una chica de ciudad, que lo soy, pero también puedo ser una chica de campo (por unos días), y es que nunca había hecho vida de campo hasta ahora y me parece de lo mas encantadora.
Para un día en el centro de Riaza (que es precioso), no es como que vaya por el campo en Chanel, aunque sería lo mas (LOL), opté por un conjunto negro con bailarinas. El resto de los días los pasé en vaqueros y zapatillas ya que es lo mas adecuado para el campo.

A little grey dress, probably the next on line after a LBD (little black dress) and LWD (little white dress) a great core item for summer, that can be worn thousands of ways. I chose to wear it with black trainers, but really any type of shoe would do. Can also be worn with a jumper over it, to transition into fall and for a different look, to transform it into a skirt.

Un mini vestido gris, probablemente el tercero en linea si hablamos de prendas básicas para el verano. Después de un mini vestido negro y uno blanco es la mejor opción para días de calor. Yo lo combine con deportivas negras pero la verdad es que quedaría bien con cualquier tipo de calzado. Y para alargar su vida y darle una apariencia distinta, llevarlo bajo un jersey o una sudadera lo convierte en falda y lo vuelve ideal para cuando empieza a refrescar.
