They are a great alternative to my Chanel and very iconic piece that can be perfect with any outfit at any moment of time. Finally for spring I decided to go for them and I am so, so happy I did.

Hace bastante tiempo que le llevo echado el ojo a estas preciosas bailarinas clásicas de Chloé con su icónico y distintivo corte ondulado (podéis ver una entrada sobre ello AQUI). Me parecen una estupenda alternativa a mis bailarinas negras de Chanel, alternando entre las dos consigo un poco mas de variedad, estas aunque son igual de sobrias y versátiles dan un toque menos neutro y mas femenino.
Primavera es la época perfecta para invertir en unas bailarinas, aun queda para poder llevar sandalias, y una vez que ya se acabe el verano, volveremos a usarlas un montón en otoño, así que por que no invertir en un nuevo par?

Downtown L.A has to be my favorite place for picture taking in this city. It has the NYC vibe in some places but still ends up being very L.A in others. I like that clash, that mix of aesthetics.
I am wearing once again my Club Monaco shirt, and while you may be wondering what on earth happened that I am repeating something in the upper half that is not an accessory (not that there are any rules, but I have mine), I certainly never repeat a top that often, the whole issue is I thought I was staying less than I actually needed too, so I had to improvise, and god I am good at that! I never have issues with finding a trillion different ways of wearing the same garment, but that of course is because all of my clothes are basics, core pieces meant for a never ending re-invention. So of course I don’t believe it is a real virtue, the trait here is just buying smart, the rest is all wearing something with whatever thing you haven’t worn it before and there you go.

El centro de L.A es mi lugar favorito para hacer fotos de toda la ciudad, tiene un aire a ciertas partes de NYC pero al final caes en la cuenta de que estas en California y eso me encanta, el contraste estético.
Otra vez llevo mi camisa de Club Monaco, y antes de que me preguntéis porque repito algo en la parte superior que no sea un accesorio (no es que hayan reglas, pero yo tengo las mias personales), os contaré. La verdad es que no me gusta repetir tops, camisas, camisetas etc, muy seguido, no se bien porqué sin embargo me da igual si es un abrigo, calzado o incluso parte inferior. Creo que es porque es lo que mas resalta de un conjunto y prefiero ir alternando. No es como que solo tenga una camisa azul o una blanca, la verdad tengo varias versiones de lo mismo así que repetirlas es tontería, pero ha pasado que al final he tenido que quedarme aquí mas tiempo del que pensaba, y he tenido que improvisar. Por suerte es algo que se me da bastante bien, o no es que se me de bien, realmente lo que se me da bien es comprar de forma inteligente, entonces luego solo tengo que combinar cosas que no haya combinado antes y ya esta!

I thought I was not going to like so much this collection in comparison to last year’s spring…but I have to say I am in love! Everything wearable, simple, classic with modern cuts, austere and versatile, what more could anyone ask for?

I did a post like this last year, four ways to wear an all black outfit, this time it’s round two. As you can see black on black is not a complex thing to wear, but it is more fun when done with a hint, just a tiny bit of another color, mostly white, grey, silver or gold. Of course some may think all black is boring, but it’s not, it can be, but hopefully here I am able to give you ideas of ways to make it fun and wearable at the same time for every season.
Outfit 1: Winter – This outfit would be most suitable for winter, its cozy and warm, with angora sweater and socks. It’s kind of really simple, just wear jeans and a sweater with sneakers and socks.
Outfit 2: Fall – This outfit is a great option for transitioning, you have the two layers, a jumper underneath a leather jacket. It could also be done with a shirt or even a tee. It could be more neutral with all black heels, but I chose a silver cap to match the details on the jacket and make it stand out.
Outfit 3: Spring – Another great way of transitioning is a coat with bare legs. Mostly you will see it done with heels or flats so when in sneakers it adds up an unexpected casual vibe.
Outfit 4: Summer – I wore this outfit on summer, a very casual comfortable ensemble that is as easy as it gets. Black trousers, t-shirt and slides.

Hice una entrada como esta el año pasado, sobre distintas formas de llevar un conjunto 100% negro, y hoy lo vuelvo a hacer. Como podéis ver negro con negro es la combinación más fácil que existe, pero es mas divertida si se hace añadiendo un pequeño toque de otro color. Mis sugerencias son blanco, gris, plata o dorado. Mucha gente es de la opinion que el negro combinado con mas negro es aburrido, pero yo discrepo completamente. Puede serlo? Como todo, pero espero que con esta entrada os de unas cuantas ideas de como incorporar esta combinación de una forma divertida pero sutil, cada estación del año.
Conjunto 1: Invierno – Este conjunto es el mas apropiado para invierno, con un jersey de angora y calcetines con los zapatos. La verdad es de lo más simple solo hay que combinar un vaquero con jersey grueso y zapatillas, añadiendo calcetines en el mismo color.
Conjunto 2: Otoño – Este conjunto es una excelente opción para entretiempo, cuando no sabemos que nos depara el día. La clave esta en las dos capas ninguna excesivamente delgada o gruesa. Para darle un toque distinto en vez de clásicos tacones negros sin más, añadí estos con la punta del tacón en plata que hace juego sutilmente con las cremalleras de la cazadora.
Conjunto 3: Primavera – Otra forma de transición entre estaciones es llevar un abrigo sobre un vestido sin medias. La mayoría lo tiende a combinar con zapatos, ya sean planos o de tacón con lo cual las zapatillas le dan un toque inesperado y casual.
Conjunto 4: Verano – Este conjunto lo usé en verano cuando mas que nunca apetece la comodidad por sobre todo, es de lo más fácil de llevar. Solo es un par de pantalones con una camiseta y unas sandalias y ya esta!
