Pictures taken in Riaza, again. Weather in Segovia area is always a few degrees lower than in Madrid so while you can still wear summer clothes here, it is always a good idea to take a few long sleeve tops (and jackets and sweaters) there. I am wearing my favorite shirt ever, a white basic but with an amazing loose shape that flows perfectly with any bottom. I chose my straight classic denim, lightweight and very comfortable. I combined this outfit with my most worn sandals this summer and my everyday black bag.

Por la zona de Segovia siempre hacen unos grados menos que en Madrid por lo que por estas fechas siempre es una buena opción llevar manga larga o jersey o cazadora, sobre todo porque refresca bastante por la tarde. Levo mi camisa blanca favorita, un básico ideal para cualquier ocasión que tiene la particularidad de que su forma es ancha y suelta, sienta genial con cualquier pantalón, vaquero o falda. Escogí estos vaqueros rectos ya que son muy cómodos y ligeros y tienen una forma que me encanta, no son boyfriend ni pitillo, están justo en la mitad. Los combiné con mis sandalias estrella de este verano y un bolso negro de tamaño medio.

We spent the weekend in Cantabria in San Vicente de la Barquera where the scenery is a mix of rural farms, beaches and medieval. I wanted to show a little bit of each in my pictures so today the pictures have that rural, countryside spirit. I am wearing a very old LBD I have owned for years. My mom gave it to me as a gift and I have worn it every summer since. It is a very easy to wear cotton dress, perfect for any occasion, can perfectly transition from day (beachwear) to night (to go out). On this particular day we were on our way to go out for dinner, therefore I wore a bit on the fancy side.

Pasamos el fin de semana en Cantabria en San Vicente de la Barquera, nos encanta entre otras cosas por la mezcla de paisajes que podemos encontrar. Es una mezcla entre campestre rural, playero y medieval. Quise plasmar el espíritu del lugar con unas fotos hechas en la zona de campo que contrasta con mi conjunto ya que íbamos de camino a cenar fuera. Llevo un vestido que tengo hace años, un regalo de mi madre y la verdad desde que me lo obsequió lo uso cada verano un montón. Es un básico muy fácil de combinar, perfecto para cualquier ocasión. Puede valer para el día, por ejemplo para la playa o para la noche como es el caso de hoy.

I love striped shirts in general, but this one in particular has me head over heels. The fit is oversized, so it looks great paired with everything, it has the perfect boyfriend shirt look I have always loved so much, but had trouble finding. It is so comfortable and I just love the baggy silhouette it creates, so I really can’t stop wearing it. Today I paired it with slim fit jeans and some flats for an easy weekend look. All casual, everyday garments, at least for me they beat fancy clothes any time.

Me encantan las camisas a rayas, pero esta en particular es mi favorita. Aun que es oversize, me parece favorecedora con absolutamente todo, tiene un estilo masculino que me encanta, llevo mucho tiempo buscando una camisa con estas características pero hasta ahora no había dado con ninguna. Es super cómoda, y fácil de usar, me encanta la silueta que hace, no puedo dejar de usarla. Hoy la he combinado con vaqueros y bailarinas, algo simple y casual.

I found this pair of shorts at home, with a bunch of old stuff, and to be honest I can’t remember where they came from, but they seemed kind of interesting. I tried them on, and they fit really well, so I decided to keep them! I wore them with an all black outfit except for white sneakers for a day out and about with my friend Camilo.

Encontré estos pantalones cortos vaqueros entre un montón de ropa vieja y la verdad no se como llegaron allí, de donde vienen, ni de quien son. Lo único que es evidente es que son una pieza original de los noventa y tienen un rollo bastante interesante. Al probármelos y comprobar que me están bien de talla, decidí quedarme con ellos, ya que son un básico para el verano y sin duda les daré mucho uso. Para un día de compras con mi amigo Camilo lo conjunté con prendas negras y zapatillas blancas.
