So today I am wearing my new (relatively new, I got it early December just before my trip) leather skirt. I had waited YEARS, for this perfect leather skirt to exist. Before, a long time ago in my early blog days, I had a very similar one from Topshop that I wore to death, but after some years of use, it started to wear off pretty badly, even small wholes appeared. Of course leather does not mean good leather, and I learned my lesson, so after a painful goodbye I started my hunt for a replacement. I waited so long for a great leather skirt to be created…years and years went by and I can’t believe I found one…finally!!! I love that it is a very light, soft leather so it can be worn on warm months as well. This is the perfect leather skirt and I couldn’t be happier now.

Hoy llevo mi falda de cuero nueva. Relativamente nueva la verdad la compré en Diciembre justo antes de venirme a Santiago. He estado esperando AÑOS, os lo prometo para la perfecta faldita de cuero. Hace años en los comienzos de este blog, podéis ver que llevaba una. Era de Topshop y la había comprado hace tiempo y me encantaba, el problema como viene siendo siempre con aquellas marcas es la mala calidad. La usé bastante y al poco tiempo se deterioro de tal forma que tuve que tirarla. No porque una falda sea de cuero significa que es de buena calidad, y sin duda en este material es cuando más hay que invertir en que lo sea. Hasta que encontré esta han pasado unos tres años pero ha valido la pena la espera, aunque el diseño es casi igual, no hay comparación en la calidad y otro gran punto a favor es que esta hecha de cuero ligero y flexible, lo que la hace ideal para el calor. Conclusión: invertir mas en un comienzo por una buena prenda nos ahorrará a la larga tiempo y dinero.

If Chile is good in something related to fashion, it has to be sneakers. You find all the ones you want, at the same US prices, and that means in between ten to sixty euros less than what you pay in Europe, sometimes even less!
So of course I am doing my thing, and getting them here, and this pair was another one I couldn’t miss. A classic black and white combination, perfect for any outfit!

For this outfit I got inspired in myself, specifically in THIS OUTFIT. Yes I usually do that, scroll on my pinterest “My Outfits” board for some inspiration and it does work wonders! I figure who knows me better than myself? No one! Plus I already know I have all the garments.Of course I also have inspiration come from other sources, but the best one of course is my own self.
As you can see I am wearing my beautiful new Céline bag and my gorgeous summer jumper by Acne in a very interesting grey design. This last purchase was one I was not so sure of at first but my friend Omar assured me I was going to wear it a lot, and he was not wrong. I love it’s marble – sprinkled grey motif, reminds me of something similar I had as a kid, and of course (tip here!) is a great alternative to a plain color grey sweater. When you want to do something bolder than a one color pattern but are not feeling any printed design this is an awesome way to go! A little bit of both worlds classic and fun!
Usually when I wear my dungarees I am reminded of a little boy or girl, and infant in general terms, and I know for someone in her twenties well…children should not exactly be an inspiration but in this case it was, I was feeling that extra playful childish vibes, and I went with that! I really love the result of the cap in the outfit, it might be a result of my inner child, but I like the look because it is still very casual, neutral and classic in a less obvious way. What is more classic than your everyday cap? It’s more classic for men than for women, but classic none the less. To finish my outfit my very comfortable Nike Flex sneakers and for the cold my leather jacket.

Por hoy vais a tener que perdonarme, creo que me he pasado un poco con las fotos pero quería mostrar bien los detalles.
Para este conjunto me inspiré en mi misma, en ESTE CONJUNTO en particular de comienzos de año. A veces lo hago, voy a mi tablero “My Outfits” de Pinterest y me voy retrocediendo en busca de inspiración. Tiene bastante sentido inspirarse en un mismo, nadie te conoce mejor y sabes que tienes todas las prendas! Por supuesto que tengo otras fuentes de inspiración pero ninguna tan acertada como yo misma.
Como podéis ver estoy usando my nuevo bolso de Céline y también estreno para fotos este jersey de verano que compre por recomendación de mi amigo Omar. Me encanta el diseño, no es un estampado del todo, es un jaspeado precioso que me recuerda a algo similar que tuve de pequeña. Este tipo de “estampados” son una alternativa estupenda a un solo color, pero también cuando queremos algo un poco mas interesante que un color plano pero no tan estridente como un estampado. Nos da un poco de ambos mundos: clásico y divertido!

Im’ wearing my Rosarte sweatshirt by Rodarte for the first time in an outfit post. I got this one together with my Rohearte sweatshirt and my J’aime Rodarte t-shirt all of course by the same brand. A few months ago I mentioned how amazing the quality is and how much I love them so I am not going to repeat that all over again, all I will add today is if you want a good sweatshirt (my addiction for the past three years), buy RODARTE, worth every penny.
Now what I will talk about today is my running sneakers. Yesterday I got a warning through my Nike running app that I had already run five hundred something kilometers with the same sneakers and that it was time to change them. Really? Before my current ones I ran almost the same amount of kilometers with a brand-less pair my sister in law gave me because she did not use them. Honestly they would have lasted probably double that amount in perfect condition. I know it’s just a strategy to make consumers buy more, but I found it so obvious and annoying. Besides that, the fact is I realized I had never ever asked myself which pair I was going to get next (after my sneakers die) so for this I need your help. Running ladies, which sneakers do you recommend? I have no idea which sneakers I should have under my radar, just in case I need to replace these.

Primera vez en el blog que llevo mi sudadera Rosarte de Rodarte. La compré el año pasado junto con mi sudadera Rohearte y mi camiseta J’aime Rodarte todas de Rodarte obviamente. Hace unos meses mencioné en un post lo encantada que estoy con mis prendas de la marca, como su calidad es excelente y lo mucho que os recomiendo sus productos. No me voy a repetir otra vez, solo añadiré que si estáis en la busca de una buena sudadera (una de mis adicciones estos últimos tres años) esta es la mejor opción.
De lo que sí hablaré hoy es de mis zapatillas. Son mis zapatillas de correr/día. Mas que nada las uso para correr pero a veces me dar por usarlas con otro fin. Ayer recibí una notificación de la running app de Nike que ya era momento de cambiar mis zapatillas pasados casi seis cientos kilómetros corriendo con ellas. La verdad es que molesto muchísimo. Esta claro que es una artimaña bastante obvia para vender mas zapatillas y la verdad las mias están estupendas, de hecho antes de correr con estas corría con unas que me dejó mi cuñada que y que no eran de ninguna marca especializada en correr. Pues bien con esas zapatillas corrí mas menos la misma cantidad de kilómetros que en este caso y aun tenían mucha vida por delante. Claramente de momento no voy a cambiarlas, pero me ha surgido la duda que jamás me he planteado remplazarlas y de hacerlo por qué modelo/marca lo haría. Así que bien a las que sois corredoras como yo os pregunto, que zapatillas debería considerar?
