I am in Copenhagen, came for fashion week and stayed because of the beauty of the city (and the fact of course that my BFF lives here), so you will be seeing a lot me here this next few days (or weeks).
I have not been able to post yet, because I have been so busy sightseeing, meeting new people and enjoying every second of the day, that when I come back home I am drained and can’t even open my laptop. This week though I am making the effort because I do want to share with you all the amazing things this city has to offer, and of course what I have been wearing.
This is what I wore for fashion week day one. This is the same dress I wore to the wedding a few months ago (for those of you following me on Instagram you may recognize it) but here I am wearing it in a more casual day to day ensemble. Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures form the wedding that I like so there is no way of showing you how that outfit was, but I will wear this one again for an event probably in a fancier way, so you will be able to see the way it looks in a different setting.

It’s been a while since I last wore this lovely striped dress. I have a few and I wear some more than others, and the thing with this one is even though I love it, the fabric is only suitable for in between weather. Not ideal for summer and for winter it works fine, but you usually end up covering the dress with more garments and it doesn’t really show. So I use it the most in spring. A great alternative to flats (how I usually wear my striped dresses) is sneakers. They work really well with any dress, in this case I was feeling matchy matchy so I went for the same colors that my dress has, but black or grey would work just as fine.

You know I love stripes, I am always wearing them no matter what! I have a lot of striped clothes and I will keep having more that is for sure, but even though my favorite striped t-shirt is my Comme des Garçons Play, the one I wear today, has a special place in my heart. You can go back in this blog, to the very early stages and you will see me wearing it non stop. I have so many outfits with this top and I still continue to wear it. It is great quality, and the style is amazing, with its sailor buttons and perfect length.
If you a garment so great, that keeps going strong for years, and years my advice is to hold on to it for dear life!

Como sabéis adoro el estampado a rayas, tengo varias prendas con este diseño, y seguramente acabaré teniendo aun más, y aun cuando mi favorito es otro, le tengo especial cariño a este top. Si retrocedemos en el tiempo, veréis que llevo usándolo desde el comienzo, una y otra y otra vez. Tengo tantos conjuntos con este top pero aún así sigo usándolo. La calidad es fantástica, el diseño único con sus botones dorados al estilo marinero y el largo de la camiseta es perfecta para alguien de mi tamaño (algo difícil para mi).
Mi consejo si tenéis una prenda así en vuestro armario, es cuidarla bien y por muchos años que pasen no dejéis de usarla!
