A classic combination I can never get tired of: jeans + sweatshirt/sweater + white sneakers. This are my self-frayed jeans from last year and each day I wear them I love them more. The style is so unique (labeled 684), and with my DIY addition it is one of a kind!

For years I have lived with tons and tons of shoes, really wearing only just a few pairs. This year however I have been working on only having garments I wear frequently and saying goodbye to those beautiful, but that I only wear once in a blue moon, practicing and living minimalism at its best (for those of you thinking minimalism is only wearing black and white your wrong, it is living with just the essentials in every aspect).
Today I am sharing with you my essential footwear. I added just the ones I wear all year long, because well boots and sandals are seasonal.

Por años he estado viviendo con cantidades y cantidades de zapatos, usando con frecuencia solo unos cuantos. Este año sin embargo, he decidido deshacerme de todo lo que no uso lo suficiente y vivir con lo esencial, aun menos cosas pero cada vez mejores. Vivir el minimalismo en su esencia (para los que penséis que el minimalismo es ir de blanco y negro estáis bien equivocados, el minimalismo es vivir con pocas cosas, solo lo esencial).
Hoy os enseño mi calzado esencial, los que verdaderamente uso todo el año. He decidido omitir el calzado de verano e invierno ya que son de temporada.

San Francisco outfit. Our trip started in L.A and ended in L.A, but we toured Nevada and California, and just at the middle of our trip we were in San Francisco. I had been here once as an early teen with my parents and I remembered most of it. What I had forgot though was the weather. How awesome and strange is S.F crazy weather? It’s what you would expect from Scandinavia, not California, thankfully we were somewhat prepared and brought some fall clothes too. I traveled with so little clothes, exactly with four trousers/jeans, of which I ended up wearing only three, one of them is the ones pictured above. I wore them three times, in two weeks much more than I normally would, but they are, hands down the best summer trousers ever. I paired them with a charcoal t-shirt, white sneakers and a military jacket, and you know what? It was just perfect for going around San Francisco with its up and down streets, cold weather, and windy days.

Mi primer conjunto en San Francisco. Nuestro viaje comenzó en L.A y acabó en L.A pero en el intertanto recorrimos California y Nevada, y justo en el ecuador de nuestro viaje estuvimos en San Francisco. Estuve una vez de adolescente y aunque me acordaba de todo, me olvidé del clima tan peculiar. Por suerte gracias a la app del tiempo fuimos preparados y no pasamos mucho frío. Hice este viaje con muy poca ropa viajé con cuatro pares de pantalones (largos) para quince días, de los cuales usé solo tres, uno de ellos es el que llevo en la foto, que acabé por usar tres veces en todo el viaje, con bastante mas frecuencia de lo normal, pero es que es el pantalón perfecto de verano, e ideal para viajar. Lo combine con una camiseta de color carbón, zapatillas blancas, y una cazadora estilo militar, la verdad que acerté de pleno ya que fue el conjunto ideal para patear S.F con sus calles en cuesta, clima frió y viento interminable.

For me, a classic everyday spring outfit involves a black dress and a leather jacket. Luckily it is a very versatile combination you can interpret and use in many ways, for different occasions and will always be a good alternative. In this case I went for a casual day outfit and paired my dress with white sneakers.
